Hive contests index #2 - participate and get rewarded
Introduction
Welcome to Hive Index #2. This is a place to find most of the active contests on Hive and what each contest is all about. I hope that this publication helps you to see much more about contests at a glance. So without wasting much time, I will start listing the contests I have discovered. This post will continue to be updated until it expires.
Contests list
Contest summary: Create an article, poem or any imaginary story about the picture in the contest post. There is no limit on word length. Just exhaust your creativity.
Reward: 4 HSBI to be distributed to the top 3 most creative entries.
Contest summary: Capture an Image with shadow. The main interest is the shadow.
Reward: 300 Ecency points plus a host of other L2 tokens to be distributed to the top winners.
Contest summary: Describe the environment you would like to stay in either mountains or ocean. Alternatively, write about your favorite toy as a child.
Reward: Top winning entries would receive 300 Ecency points and many other L2 tokens to be shared. Check the contest for more details.
Contest summary: Write about how you save and whether you have an emergency fund.
Reward: 1000 Ecency points to be shared to top 3 winners, plus curation on winning entries.
Contest summary: What will you do if you faced a moral dilemma. Or list and describe 5 sentences that fits your personality.
Reward: 6 Hive in total would be distributed to top 3 winning entries.
Contest summary: Describe something you will rate exceptionally high (eleven out of ten). Or Write about the age you would like to reach before death. Or Write about the best thing you have ever discovered in life. OR Write about how you are spending this weekend.
Reward: 600 Ecency points to be distributed to the winning entries.
Contest summary: Create African music of any genre.
Reward: Author rewards (60%) of a post made by the Afritunes community
Contest summary: Produce a song that covers the subject 'Sweet Dreams"
Reward: Curation by the community
Contest summary: Capture a picture of a bird and water - any combination goes
Reward: There will be 5 winners. A total of 10 Hive and 3000 Ecency points will be shared to them.
Contest summary: Caption a screenshot from your favorite game to show cinematic effects.
Reward: Curation from the Qurator account and 10 HSBI.

There are many reasons why you should take contest serious. Check out this one below
- Build engagement: Engagement is important to every content creator. Contests provide a way for you to make meaningful comments on other users entries. Such great comments could lead to nice conversations. Before long, you could start visiting other users posts and also attract others to your blog page. The more you interact with other users that joined a contest, the more you build a great audience for your blog page. source
