A life without animal products; Veganism is not for the weak
I once had a boss who was a vegan, and I couldn't understand why he avoided animal products entirely and he does not like fish either 🤔 Anytime, he wanted to eat, he tried to avoid eating where people would see him and one day he said it while having a chat with us in the office. Then, questions came because I must know why. How do you balance your diet sir? I asked him, curious about his lifestyle choice. He replied that he only consumed vegetables, which seemed incredibly restrictive to me.
Then, I inquired more about his family's dietary habits, wondering if they followed his vegan lifestyle. He revealed that his wife and kids initially resisted, and he gave a strict warning to his family not to ever bring any meat or fish into his house. But the wife refused and this led to everyday conflicts and quarrels. The situation escalated to the point where the children refused to come home from school, and eventually, the marriage ended. I couldn't help but think, "What a life! Why impose such a drastic change on your loved ones?"
I couldn't fathom why my boss imposed his vegan lifestyle on his family, especially since he didn't grow up with these beliefs, it was a sudden and a strange lifestyle in you. As someone who values individual choices, I believe everyone should have the freedom to make their own decisions about what they eat. It's essential to respect other people's opinions and preferences, even if they differ from our own.
Personally, I couldn't adopt a vegan lifestyle, as I enjoy a variety of foods, including meat and fish. While I have some preferences, like avoiding bush meat and pork due to it being tagged as a dirty animal. Also I cannot eat local fowls too, they irritate me. I couldn't imagine giving up tasty food entirely because I want to live a vegan lifestyle. I believe in moderation and balance in all aspects of life.
I also wondered, do vegans avoid using products made from animals, like leather, silk, and wool? These materials are ever-present in our daily lives, from furniture to clothing. It seemed extreme to me, and I believe moderation is key to a happy life. Is it possible to avoid animal products entirely in today's world?
Before considering a vegan lifestyle, I think it's essential to have a well-balanced diet plan and consider potential health risks associated with nutrient deficiencies. Balance and flexibility are crucial in making lifestyle choices. It's vital to prioritize individual needs and preferences over strict adherence to a particular diet or philosophy.
In this my life, I don't want to miss grilled fish with potatoes, seasoned and spicy meat, cow legs and cow tail peppersoup (Nkwobi), isiewu (goat head),assorted meat all in the name of becoming a vegan🤔 Hell, No! However, I can maintain and reduce the intake of animal products for my total well be weing.

Thank you for your time on my blog every now and then. I love you all💕
Your boss shouldn't have given a strict warning to his family, because he doesn't like eating animal products doesn't mean he should inconvenient others who love eating it. And also I can't adopt to vegan lifestyle because of my love for animal products.
I wonder o🤔
He is just a strict person, his opinion stands above every other person.
I will separate my kitchen if I fall into that category. I can't deal
It was wrong for him to impose his vegan lifestyle on his family, it is a personal choice made by him, why should his entire family have to adopt the same diet or suffer the consequences of his personal choice.
For vegetarians, I think restrictions from consuming anything relating to animals only has to do with eating it but when it comes to wears, I don't think they have issues with such things. Thinking about it does make it sound weird, if you dislike eating meat/animals, why wear cloth made with animals? 😅
You dey mind him? His decision cost him his marriage.
Why is the same question I have been asking 🤷 Well, it's a matter of choice.
