Un día para Celebrar a la “Familia”

A propósito de celebrarse el 15 de mayo el Dia de la familia quiero compartir con ustedes una celebración que pudimos disfrutar la familia hace poco. En otros post he comentado lo importante que es para mí, mi tía Euridys, ella es la uncia hermana que tienen mi mamá, a pesar de que se llevan 2 años de diferencia, todo el mundo las conoce como las morochas, pues desde pequeñas siempre estaban juntas para todos lados, y todavía de adultas siguen siendo tan unidas como cuando eran niñas.

Mi mamá trabajó 19 años en el Banco Latino, fue su único trabajo fuera de casa, pero para ese entonces el horario de trabajo era una esclavitud y a pesar de que ganaba muy bien, por supuesto pasaba todo el día fuera de casa y es ahí donde mi tía cumplió con todos los roles de madre, es por eso que tanto para mis hermanos como para mi ella representa una segunda madre, adicional es mi madrina de bautizo. Su esposo que es mi tío político es como un padre y sus hijos son como mis hermanos, hoy en día a pesar de que cada quien ha hecho su vida y 2 de ellos no viven en la isla, siempre, siempre nos mantenemos en contacto y se que cuando cada uno necesita del otro ahí estamos para lo que salga, pues crecimos juntos y nos queremos como hermanos.

Pues les cuento que mi tía después de 46 años de casada con mi tío por el civil, decidió renovar sus votos sacramentales y se casó por la iglesia jajajaja me da ganas de reír porque no puedo creer como una pareja después de tantos años decide hacer esto. Pero últimamente lo he visto mucho y mi tía no podía ser la excepción. También viene un poco de que ella es muy católica y para la iglesia no esta bien visto comulgar si no tienes el sacramento del matrimonio.

Mi tía organizo su boda y pues si amigo fue toda una celebración y hoy pienso estaba tan feliz que yo no puedo sino también alegrarme por ella. Mi tía nunca trabajo en la calle, ella se dedicó por completo a ser ama de casa y atender a su familia incluyéndonos a nosotros, mi tío proveniente de una familia de dinero, proveía todo lo necesario para que jamás tuviera que trabajar, les dio educación, carro y casa a todos sus hijos, los formo como buenas personas, hoy todos profesionales y 3 de ellos ya tienen su propia familia.

Esta celebración fue muy íntima, ella solo invito a varias personas de la iglesia, a dos primas, a mi mamá, a mis hermanos, mi primo Pedro, hijo de su hermano que ya falleció, a mis hijos y a mí. Por supuesto aprovechamos de tomarnos fotos y celebrara con ella su linda unión, también pedir ante Dios mucha salud para que puedan pasar muchos años más juntos y al lado de sus hijos.

Amigos para mí, la familia es muy importante, pero familia que de verdad te quieran, que compartan contigo tus alegrías y tristezas, que estén contigo en las buenas y en las malas. Una anécdota de nuestra familia es que cuando a mi hermana mayor le diagnosticaron Cáncer mi tía se fue a caracas todo un mes junto con mi mama y hermana, mientras le hacían estudios y colocaban su primer tratamiento, apoyando a mi mamà y a mi hermana en todo momento, dejando a su propia familia aquí en la Isla, mi tío alquilo un lugar para que pudieran estar cómodos ellos allá y mientras tanto entre mi abuela y yo nos hacíamos cargo de los más pequeños aquí en la Isla.

De verdad contar con familia es algo maravilloso y yo se que la tengo, tengo mucha familia pero específicamente la familia de mi tía son lo máximo y por eso hago este post en honor y para celebrar con ellos un día tan especial como lo es el día de la familia, una fecha tan especial y que no todos le dan el mismo valor.

Nowadays, even though each one has made his own life and 2 of them do not live on the island, we always, always keep in touch and I know that when each one needs the other, we are there for whatever comes up because we grew up together and we love each other like brothers.

Well, I tell you that my aunt, after 46 years of being married to my uncle, decided to renew her sacramental vows and got married in the church hahahaha it makes me want to laugh because I can't believe how a couple after so many years decides to do this. But lately I've seen it a lot and my aunt couldn't be the exception. It also comes from the fact that she is very Catholic and for the church it is not acceptable to take communion if you do not have the sacrament of marriage.

Then she organized her wedding and well, friend, it was quite a celebration and today I think she was so happy that I can't help but be happy for her. My aunt never worked on the street, she dedicated herself completely to being a housewife and taking care of her family, including us, my uncle came from a wealthy family, he provided everything necessary so that they never had to work, he gave them an education , car and house to all his children, he raised them as good people, today they are all professionals and 3 of them already have their own family.

This celebration was very intimate, she only invited several people from the church, two cousins and my mother, my brothers, my cousin Pedro, son of her brother who has already passed away, and my children and me. Of course we took the opportunity to take photos and celebrate with her their beautiful union and ask God for good health so that they can spend many more years together and with their children.

Friends for me, family is very important, but family who truly love you, who share your joys and sadness with you, who are with you in good times and bad. An anecdote from our family is that when my older sister was diagnosed with Cancer, my aunt went to Caracas for a whole month with my mother and sister, while they did a study and gave her first treatment, supporting my mother and my sister in everything. moment, leaving his own family here on the Island, my uncle rented a place so that they could be comfortable there and meanwhile between my grandmother and I we took care of the little ones here on the Island.

Truly, having family is something wonderful and I know that I have it, I have a lot of family but specifically my aunt's family is the best and that is why I am making this post in honor and to celebrate with them a day as special as the day is. of the family such a special date and that not everyone gives it the same value.
