Magara Parade Of Lights 2023

Hope all is good and safe😘🙂🙂

Yesterday was a busy day. From my work down to our home. We are always fullybooked since last July 7, 2023 until now. And you know what, today we had a "VIP Guest". The famous band named "SIAKOL" if your familiar with it, was our guest for today.

They are invited by our local government to have a show tonight at "Tambayan ni Gara". But let's not talked about it for now, because they are not yet around.

So for now, I will tell you about last night. There was a "Parade of Lights". That was the theme our Local Government Unit prepared for the Patron Saint of Santa Cruz. It started at around 5 in the afternoon. So my sister, cousins and friends went to the road side were the parade will pass, and so we wait.

A little later, the parade arrived. It was lead by a Patrol Car and then next the car of our Municipal Mayor with his Mother and the councilors. Here are some of the photos that I took.

The last part of the parade was the Beauty Queens who won last-last night Pageant. And one of the winners was my cousin's cousin on her father side. She didn't got the Crown as "Miss Carigara" but for us she is the winner. And ofcourse all of them are winners too.

After the parade, those agencies are going to present at Tambayan ni Gara. So after that, we went home first and took our dinner. It's already passed 8 in the evening. And I decided not to watched it, because I'm already tired. Instead I watched it online live.

Overall, it was a great parade and presentations of "Carigaran-on" Participants. They are all winners.
