Garden pests, Roya
Pests are a problem for the horticulturist, but they are part of nature and we must learn to live with them. It is a mistake to try to eliminate them completely with products that in the long term will be much more harmful to us, causing serious illnesses. In this series of articles I will talk about how to deal with these small, undesirable living beings.

Rust is another of those diseases caused by fungi that attack our vegetables. It is not very common since it needs specific conditions and vegetables are usually very resistant to it. Even so, it can attack the legume family, especially beans and peas.
It is a very common fungus in rose bushes, so if you have a rose bush, it will warn you before it can appear in the garden. Planting rose bushes around the garden or vineyards is an ancient warning technique that allows us to anticipate problems and they are also very pretty to see.
The most effective rust control is done with copper oxychloride, but I do not recommend it. It is better to use horsetail infusion and eliminate the infected parts of the plant and then burn them. It is a much more ecological method.
Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
