Powdery mildew is one of the most common fungi that attacks our crops in the garden and is well known by the most experienced gardeners. It is a fungus that appears especially in spring when the first rains arrive and is combined with higher temperatures. This causes the appearance of the fungus. It is difficult to prevent because it reproduces by spores that are in the environment. But it can be treated.

Traditionally, powdery mildew is treated with sulfur in powder form or dissolved in water. Sulfur is allowed for organic farming but it is true that it can affect the soil ecosystem so many farmers use a lactic acid solution that is very effective. Just mix a yogurt with a liter of water and apply it to the leaves.
