The Happiness of Taking Pictures for My Parents and Cousins

Good day, Hivenians! I hope you’re fine while reading my blog today.

This was the continuation of my cousins' visit to our hometown. Before our dinner, we had more time to talk to each other since the food we ordered took more time to prepare. But my parents and my cousins had more time talking to each other since as you can see in the picture, they fall in the same age bracket. Yes, one of the cousins who visited our place was the first grandchild of my grandfather on my father’s side. My grandfather on my father’s side had 9 children; my father is the youngest. One of my cousins who visited was the daughter of the eldest siblings of my grandfather and she and my mother are the same age.

Usually, when my cousins visited our place, they were the ones who took pictures since every visit they brought cameras so every visit they would bring the hard copy of the pictures they took.

Our photo album was full of pictures when I was young because my cousins loved to capture events. Unfortunately, due to Supertyphoon Yolanda, all our albums were damaged and cannot be retrieved.

Now, when my cousins visit, I’m tasked to take pictures and after that, I’ll just send them to the Messenger app immediately. It would not take another visit to see the pictures. Oh, I just want to add that every time I took pictures, I was so happy because it seemed that I could turn back all the efforts they made for us when we had no cameras at that time.

My parents also loved to take a pose every time I took photos of them, and my father always made a sweet gesture for my mother when I told them to take a pose.
