$6 White Rice With Egg And Tempeh In Aneka Kudapan, Ngurah Rai Airport

Hello my dear friends.
Here i will share the food that i ate when i was in Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali. My flight was in late afternoon, its a 5 pm flight. Supposedly, i had a lot of time to relax before i have to go to the airport. But you know, its not me if there’s no problem. I rescheduled my ticket no i need to arrived 3 hours before my flight schedule to pay for the service. Its kinda sucks that they dont offer the online payment. Anyway, i had to go from my home stay at 12 pm and i arrived in the airport around 1 pm. Maybe because of alk the stress during the travel, i got my ulcer came just right after i arrived in the airport. I didnt bring my meds with me so right after i finished put my luggage and check in, i was looking for the pharmacy in the waiting room. I bought the med and took it right away. The meds that i bought was Omeprazole. We can consume omeprazole one hour before or after consuming food. Since mg stomach is already in a lot of pain, i took it immediately, waiting for an hour, then looking for food. When i was feeling sick, i dont have energy nor appetite to eat something good. The simpler the food the better for me. That is why its quite hard to find a restaurant in the airport. Well then, when i look around near the gate where i supposed to wait, there’re a restaurant with warung concept. The name is Aneka Kudapan. Its a traditional looking restaurant and i saw the food in their stalls and getting very interested.

This is the food in their stall that attracted me to eat in their restaurant. Dont get me wrong i still feel very sick and have no appetite at all. But as we can see from the pictures that i attached here, their food is really simple. I believe that they have their other menu but i dont have the energy to even look at them. I dont even know where i get the energy to took the pictures that i will share through this post because i feel like almost dying at the time.

This is are what the place looks like. Its very simple just like their food. There are not many people, i think the reason why it happened because the place is too simple and many people like to eat and wait in a fancier place when they’re in airport. I understand that, you already pay more when you are in the airport so its better to not holding back at all. The other reason might be because its Ramadhan, so many people are fasting and it’s understandable if the restaurant is a bit empty in the day time. I am pleased with this kind of situation though, because it gave me space and privacy i needed. I was sick and not in my right mind and looking at the crowd will nit make it better.

This is my food, as i said before its a very simple food.

This is the white rice. Normally, when i was sick i will only eat white rice and nothing else. I dont know where that came from nor i know the reason why. Its just a habit for me. But this time, since i an traveling, i forced myself to buy some side dish.

This is the side dish that i choose. Its one tempeh and one egg. Both of them are so expensive for what they are, but i am glad that they taste good despite the bitter tongue that i had that day.

For the drink, i just ordered a warm tea to warmed up my body. Sadly, when i ordered the tea, they dont give us options what kind of tea that we want. I don’t particularly enjoy English breakfast. But then again, it might be my fault for not asking what kind if tea that they will be serving to me.

Price

This is something that you will need to pay for 10.000 idr to 15.000 idr in another place but since its airport, i paid almost 90.000 idr in total. I dont even look at the bill and just pay since its hurts to pay 50.000 idr for a rice and an egg.
