More pretty plate plays

I am still - and will be for a long time - playing with my pretty plates. Last evening's supper involved three McGregor potters.

And it was pasta night what's not to like?

Look carefully at the top left of the pic above and you'll see part of the little blue pot for cheese - the third potter, Paul. Sadly no longer with us.

So, we had salad off Simon's gorgeousness, pasta off Trish's wonky wonders and the cheese in Paul's little pots.

Oh, and the roasted pepper pasta was pretty (ha!) good, too!

It's a crazy short long month, and I'm not keeping up. My kitchen time with that, is turning into a refuge. For the moment. And as I write, I realise it's time to start this week's market prep...in just a couple of hours...

A little D update

Since Saturday, we have had more information: she's opening one eye more than others and not speaking much. That's a worry because until she does the extent of any brain damage cannot be properly assessed. As it is, there are concerns about short term memory. In my inexpert opinion, some of that could be because of the trauma, but then, it may not. So, we wait and send healing wishes to her, and to all who love and care for her.

Post script: I am trying to participate in @traciyork's April #HiveBloPoMo. I emphasise trying because RL - and my day job - have been so busy over the last while that I've not known which way to turn. That shouldn't stop you - or anyone. Read about how to participate here.

This is Day 13

Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:

  • re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
  • and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
  • From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.

  • lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on @hive.blog and Canva.
