Five Photo Thursday
My favourite morning view from the bedroom window is gone. These two photos are either side of the new double story (why?) house that now hides it.
All I see from the bed is a gable end. Sometimes progress is a hard pill to swallow. When I took these yesterday, it was to try and capture to beautiful morning light. At least there's that.
I had a long, hot afternoon in the kitchen and wasn't done (More about that in another post). It was Thursday, so when the afternoon kitchen shift was over, that wasn't the end. It was time to start the rolls fo Saturday. And supper. The eggs at the moment, much as I would have liked, are not poaching quality, so a quick frittata and salad (with potato for him) had to do.
Behind the salad, you'll see some of what occupied my afternoon. More of that, in due course.
Lastly, where else would I get such a magical sky to end my day?.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
- Join Hive using this link and then join us in the Silver Bloggers' community.

- lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on @hive.blog and Canva.
It is healthy to wake up and capture things that keep your day going. The salad make salivating, hahahaha. A i longing for it, maybe someone is hungry already.
looks like a nice and tasty dish Bon appetit
I'm sad they built a house to spoil your view. On the other hand, it could be worse, you could have a view of a 4-floor apartment building with a kindergarten in front! To me, your view is beautiful - it has architecture I'm not used to, plants and trees and nature, and the mountains at the horizon so far away. It makes me feel the world is huge and full of possibilities!
And that night sky picture at the end, awesome! I want to dive in and take a swim among those clouds!
hellooo :)
I love the second photo.. Amazing.
Hello! Thank you 😊
