Do you think Hive needs an incentive mechanism and micro-financing for research? #poll

You can explain this question?

I believe that scientific research is an important factor in the technological development, and there is no mechanism that promotes professionals to deepen research on blockchain, web3 from points of view such as sociological, philosophical, just to mention two aspects.
I don't know if I make myself clear?

yeah we are not funding "professional blockchain research"
that is not what the chain is about.

How about this.
We just build the tech and the products people want.

How do we really know what people want? What are the criteria?
The system weighs everything from productivity and profitability, for example, the RRSS work as slot machines, and there are really detrimental effects on dopaminergic channels. What if we seek to understand how dopamine works? and based on the studies we build applications? This is just an example.

research on dopamine and how it affects gamers and social media is well documented.
Why spend money on "research" when others are doing it for you.

I know that, but, dopamine is an example, there are more topics that deal with blockchain and that can be interesting to approach from a scientific point of view.

great.
if you think it is important.
you can write up a proposal to the Hive DHF and hope it gets funded.

I have thought about it, but, for that I need to work more on how to make that awesome and bring value to Hive. Let's see what the future holds.
