Fiery plays Mass Effect 2 part 2: some old faces.

We began this part by talking with Miranda and Jacob. Miranda made clear that she is not interested in making friends. And Jacob wanted to know if we trust him. We established that we are in charge and then all three of us flew to human colony of Freedom's Progress.

Inside the colony we found out that all the locals went missing. Seemingly vanished. Also someone turned mechs against us. After defeating some mechs we found a group of quarians. They were led by our former companion Tali. She told us that they are looking for another quarian named Veetor. Apparently he is a bit unstable. He hid somewhere and programed the mechs to attack on sight.We agreed to work together. But soon after we departed to look for Veetor Tali called us and told us that her men decided to betray us and find Veetor by themselves. They run into a heavy mech and it destroyed quarian squad. Only Tali survived. We defeated the mech and found Veetor.He had footage of strange aliens known as Collectors. They were kidnapping local colonists and taking them away. We let Tali take Veetor. Then we spoke with Illusive Man again. He believes that Collectors are working for the reapers. Also Collectors come from Omega 4 Relay and no normal(non Collector) ship has returned from traveling there. And to stop them we will need an army or a very good team. Illusive Man had already prepared a list of best soldiers, mercenaries and scientists. He suggested that we should first travel to Omega and find a doctor Mordin. Illusive Man also invited our pilot...

It was Joker. He agreed to work for Cerberus because they resurrected Guts Shepard and rebuild the Normandy. But this new Normandy also had a few surprises waiting for us. Namely an AI that is now spying on us for the Illusive Man. The crew calls it EDI. Joker was not happy about having an AI installed in his ship either.
