Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!
Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle. in @splinterlands.
Battle details: I played with death splinter. My opponent used a water splinter against me.
Battle rules: It was a battle with 40 mana cap and two rules:
Back to Basics: Monsters lose all abilities.
Keep your distance: Melee attack monsters may not be used in battles.
Battle lineup:
MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 2. This summoner casts Affliction on entire enemy team( this means that enemy team loses healing abilities). It also grants Void ability to my team(This means that magic attack against my team is reduced). And lastly this summoner reduces enemy ranged attack by 1. I used this summoner because it reduces both magic and ranged attacks and I knew that my opponent can't use melee attacks.
FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1. This monster doesn't cost any mana.
CTHULHU level 2. This monster has great magic attack(3) and health(12). This mage has three abilities: Cripple, Flying and Stun. I used this monster because it has a lot of health and strong magic attack.
PHANTOM SOLDIER level 3. This mage has strong magic attack(3) and a lot of health(9) it also has two abilities: Flying and Silence. I used this monster because it has a lot of health.
ANCIENT LICH level 2. This mage has awesome magic attack(3) and decent health(4). It has two abilities: Life Leech and Void. I used this mage because it is a powerful mage.
DHAMPIR STALKER level 4. This monster has a strong ranged attack(4) and a decent health(6). This monster has True Strike ability. I used this monster because it has great ranged attack.
Battle strategy: I used a summoner who reduces enemy ranged attack and gives my team Void ability. I used FURIOUS CHICKEN as my tank to waste first enemy attack. I also used powerful mages with a lot of health to keep my enemy busy.
On the battlefield
My opponent also used a magic team with few monster with a lot of health. Also my enemy lowered my magic attack power.
My opponent's tank was barely alive.
My CTHULHU and enemy DJINN were very wounded.
My enemy lost another powerful mage.
And so I won.
In this battle I won 40 League Rating and 0.229 SPS. My strategies worked well- My summoner reduced enemy ranged and magic attacks. And my team had enough health to survive this battle.
