Desde hace días quería consentir un poquito a mis plantitas. Tengo un par de Jiboias que en el piso no están muy bien. Además de ayudar en la decoración de casa. Con un presupuesto corto la mejor opción es ser creativos. Había visto algunas ideas en internet. Además tenía el material básico: cordón y tijeras.
For days, I’ve been wanting to give my plants a little extra care. I have a couple of pothos that aren't doing too well on the floor. Besides helping with home décor, getting creative with a tight budget is the best option. I had seen some ideas online, and I already had the basics: some cord and scissors.
Mi idea fue hacer algunas trenzas con el cordón y que al unirlas sirvieran de base colgante para mis dos materos.
Comencé midiendo la largura que queria que tuviese y corte 9 pedazos de cordón del mismo tamaño. Hice tres guspos de tres hebras de cordón y comencé a tejer. Lo que no sabía en este punto era el nudo que se me iba a formar jajaja... Pero con paciencia y orden lo conseguí.
My idea was to braid some cord and use the braids to make a hanging base for my two plant pots.
I started by measuring the length I wanted and cut nine pieces of cord the same size. I made three groups of three strands of cord and began braiding. What I didn’t know at this point was the knot I was going to create, haha... But with patience and a bit of organization, I got it done.
Repetí el proceso y así obtuve dos largas trenzas. Las guindé a la mitad a la estructura que usé como base y ahora tenía cuatro trenzas colgando. Hice un nudo entre ellas en el medio y otro abajo casi en las puntas. Los nudos sirvieron de soporte para colocar los dos materos.
I repeated the process and ended up with two long braids. I hung them from the middle onto the structure I used as a base, and now I had four braids hanging down. I tied a knot in the middle and another one near the bottom, almost at the ends. The knots served as support to hold the two plant pots.
Me gustó el resultados, mis Jiboias se ven más vivas que nunca y además fue una manualidad rápida. Me hubiese gustado usar cordón de color bege pero temia que se ensuciara al regar las plantas.
I liked the result; my pothos look more alive than ever, and it was a quick DIY project. I would have liked to use beige cord, but I was worried it might get dirty when I water the plants.
Poder crear con nuestras manos tiene un valor... Da mucha satisfacción ver el resultado de nuestra creatividad. Yo no soy la mejor en decoración pero este mini proyecto me encantó.

Al final lograste un buen resultado, te quedó muy bien el macramé, ese es el mejor lugar para ese tipo de plantas porque cuando van creciendo caen hacia abajo, en el suelo no lucirán su belleza natural. Saludos 🤗
