Have you ever heard of Volunteers? What do you think of when you hear about Volunteers? Surely most people have heard of it and some of them have been volunteers, then what is volunteering and have I ever been a part of it, I will explain below, in advance I want to say thank you in advance to all of you who have opened my post and I hope you guys can read to the end so that the conclusion is directed.

What is volunteering?

More precisely, volunteers are people who are willing or willing to do something positive voluntarily without any orders from certain parties, and volunteering is a form of social behavior that is carried out or carried out on the basis of one's own desires that aims to bring benefits to society as a whole. and what is clear is that volunteers are not driven by financial reasons, Volunteers are usually engaged in many positive fields, volunteers are usually engaged in humanitarian interests and there are also other fields.

Types of Volunteers

Actually there are several types of Volunteers, including often called Project, Event and Regular types.

Project : something done within a certain time.

Event : usually only done a day two to three days, more specifically done in a short period of time.

Regular : usually done once a week or once a month, depending on the circumstances that require it.

Have I been a part of Volunteer?

Several times I and several other friends went down to the location to do volunteer activities, the last few months ago I became part of the Covid 19 volunteer team, we moved to carry out socialization and check the cleanliness of the environment, another activity we did was to do mutual assistance. royong, providing understanding about Covid 19 to the community and besides that we also provide a little humanitarian assistance to people in need, because as we know the economic conditions during the pandemic are very worrying.

What is the reason I become a Volunteer?

My reason is very simple, I feel a sense of inner satisfaction or happiness for me when I can help people who need help, and what I have to say is, there are so many lessons that I have learned from being a part of Volunteer.

My hope for the future

My hope, of course, is to invite all of you who feel there is a slight advantage to helping those in need, the advantages I mean are not only financial, it could be that the advantages we have are in the form of knowledge and strength, we can help those who are having trouble in our field. okay, that's my hope for the future.
