I had the privilege of attending the Awards Night of the 23rd Biennial General Meeting (BGM) and the 5th Rural Banking Excellence Awards, held at the Golden Bean Hotel, Kumasi, on November 17th, 2024.

With the theme "Building a Resilient Economy: The Role of Rural and Community Banks," the event not only highlighted the incredible contributions of rural and community banks across Ghana but also served as an inspiration for my career development.

Attending such a prestigious event provided me with valuable insights into the critical role of rural banking in economic development, financial inclusion, and community empowerment. It was a reminder of how impactful the banking sector can be in building resilient economies.
