It is a tradition that on the birthday of any family member or friend we receive a call or an audio through a social network from our children singing them birthdays, my 6 year old daughter starts everything and my 3 year old son follows suit, we call him the second voice 🤣 and in my case it was no exception because when I woke up the first one to sing birthday to me was my daughter. She does it with a contagious emotion and as I am easy to cry, I got some tears, my son was not awake yet so he did not sing birthday to me, and when he woke up he did not remember, but his sister told him and quickly went to hug me and give me kisses, those were the most tender moments of my day and the best gift I could receive 😍.

Later my husband arrived, he brought some things from the supermarket and part of the family came, I say "part", because it was a working day, many could not attend because they were working, my friends could not attend either, however they did not miss their messages of congratulations through the various social networks, I am very grateful to them for taking the time to review photos in their statuses and stories.

Between my husband and I we also have a tradition which is: on birthday day the honoree does nothing and the other takes care of him, although this year he was saved from cooking because we were at my mom's house and she was the one who cooked, but he was not saved from handing out the snacks 😁 he really enjoys that work, because while handing out he does not stop eating what he is handing out 🤣, although he did not want to be photographed eating the snacks if I could make him handing out, I caught him off guard too bad it did not occur to me before, to capture him while he was eating.

While we were sharing in the backyard of my mom's house, my younger sister was decorating the cake with a lot of love for me, she wanted the theme of the cake to be a floral plant, because she knows I love plants. Suddenly it started to rain and we all had to go inside the house, once inside, my husband saw the cake and asked: "what figure is that?", "is that an lizard?" And my sister in law (@schiogonzalez) also asked: what is that? a Wild cougar?, My sister got upset and told them: "you are not going to eat cake" and both my husband and my sister-in-law quickly changed their minds and started sarcastically saying: "what a beautiful cake", "if you know how it looks it must be a delight", so she would give them a taste. At the end of the day I honestly don't know what the theme of the cake decoration was but judge for yourselves, I think my husband and sister-in-law were right 🤣 but I thank my sister for her beautiful detail.

My husband's aunt (@milindasblog) gave me a delicious coconut flan, and I tell you, you have to try it, it is one of the tastiest desserts I have ever tasted. Thank you very much for such a nice detail. It started to get dark and I decided it was time to sing birthday, but before, the photo session with all the guests, my mom very rarely if ever has liked to smile for the pictures, there is no particular reason for her not to do it, however, my husband to make her laugh, he said: "mother in law show me the iron (dental prosthesis used especially by the elderly)", my mom could not hold the laughter and photographed her. Once we finished singing the birthday song I took a brief moment in silence and before blowing out the candles I thanked God for that unique moment that without being planned (like most of the things my family does) was perfect, and I will always treasure it in my mind and heart.
