Wednesday walk: Taking a walk in one of the rural area in Ilorin

Hello blessed morning,
Yesterday I would have post my Wednesday walk but I got tired and decided to do it later.
I took a walk around a rural area in Ilorin Kwara state. The place houses are built with mud but now some are rebuilt to a cement and block use while some they make use of cement to cover the mud up so as not to show that it is a mud house also there are some beautiful house there and not all are mud houses. This is to show that the place is developing little by little .

The place is full of debris and all sort of refuse , around the place there is only one source of water for the people and only one transformer and the place is very big place.

The other water source is an abandoned one which have been there since when I was small but they never complete the project. This is the issue we had with our government when new people entered they never takes over the project and leave it .

Then later I move towards the main road and on my way I saw other things

Greetings friend from Hive, I hope you are doing very well, I was very pleased to know a little more of that rural area of your country, good to know that little by little in that town is getting cement and block to improve the houses, I hope they soon improve the water situation, thank you very much for your post.

There are many things they are lacking and the government turn a deaf bear to them but I hope things get better for them also. Thanks so much for your comment I really appreciate

INterestign how they are changing the style of the houses,
a shame the government is not doing what it should and helping to build the much needed infrastructure there

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

countless of time they have written to the government but the moment government came into power they were neglected and such project were swept under carpet. some of them had to go far away place in search of water before they could drink and use it for other purpose . Thanks for your comment
