My striped kimono sleeveless shirt
Hello lovelies π€
It's been an amazing journey here in this community with the amazing minds here, even though it's been a while I posted here which is due to some personal reasons, I'm always here to see beautiful works of creative people and as always no disappointment zone. There's always something new to learn everyday in the community π
So today I decided to dress corporate to look at least sharp oppose to my regular norms buh had a hard time choosing from my pants and shirt that I almost handpick a dress to throw on buh at a corner in my box I saw a black and white colour peek through and voila! It's a sleeveless kimono shirt I made almost a year ago as practical at my boss's @taimah office then, I'm not sure if @monica-ene can remember this outfit though ( I know right? How time fliesππ ). This shirt took me a while to make and had many corrections thenπ so, I decided to wear it for the first time pairing it with my plad striped pants and a black sleeveed top (it's a little windy today)
Also remembered I still have some pictures of the process to make the shirt (not all thou) and decides to share with us since it's #needleworkmonday and to hear out opinion
I rememberes I had issues with the flap and if was twisting and turning until my boss said to add some interface (airstay bcos the fabric is soft in texture ) and it came out better when I foldedπ
Closed the flap with hemming gum and ironed it down
Used a white bias to turn the armhole (had a hard time choosing from either white or black thread b4 I went for black eventually, came out nice right?)
No rough work with Taimah so, I always weave the inside of every fabric I sew
I'm feeling so confidence π

Thanks so much @vickoly I'm flattered ππ
You're welcome, keep up the good work.
wonderful blouse! this suits you so much!!! it is difficult to judge the sense of style because we are all different. I prefer the classic style. for example, with this blouse, black or white trousers would suit me better. but in my country people wear whatever they like and combine clothes as they please. and it's cool! π
Thanks so much for Ur opinion ma'am
I'm flattered π
Have a nice day ahead
