CROCHET GLOVES 🧤🪡

Hello everyone,
How are you all doing?I hope you all doing great in your life's . It's been cold like crazy for the past few weeks and also I had my exams going on. I hope you’re cozy and staying warm this winter. It’s been a while since my last update, but I’m excited to share something special today. Recently, I crocheted a pair of fingerless gloves, and I’m absolutely in love with how they turned out!

For these gloves, I used soft, high-quality yarn in two lovely colors: baby pink and a vibrant yellow. The combination gives them a cheerful and bright look, perfect for adding a pop of color to any outfit. I used a 4-ply yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook to ensure the stitches were tight and the gloves would keep the hands warm. It involved doing BPO(back loop) stiches. You can adjust the ribbing according to your wrist as well.

The design started with the wrist section. To give it a snug and flexible fit, I used a ribbed pattern made with front post and back post double crochet stitches. This not only makes the gloves stretchy but also adds a nice texture. The wrist section took me around 20-30 minutes to complete, and I couldn’t stop admiring the neatness of the stitches. It was quite relaxing to watch it turn so good.

For the main body of the gloves, I used half-double crochet stitches throughout. The real fun was incorporating the yellow stripes into the design. Instead of sticking to a single color, I decided to add four bold yellow stripes on the body to make the gloves more eye-catching. Switching between the pink and yellow yarn was a bit challenging at first, but once I got into the rhythem, it became easier. But for some reason I guess switching would always be very difficult for me . I always get in trouble while switching the yarn.i made sure that I carefully weaved in the ends so that the inside looked as clean as the outside.

The thumb hole was created by chaining stitches and skipping a section of the main pattern. While doing the thumb part I was making sure that it was the exact length, not too tight neither too looseThis part required some trial and error to get the size just right. I wanted to make sure the gloves were comfortable and functional without feeling too tight. This was the final result after investing so much time in it.

After finishing both gloves, I stepped back and admired the result. The soft pink and bright yellow stripes work so well together, and the gloves are not only stylish but also super cozy. They’re perfect for chilly mornings or evenings, whether you’re working, writing, or just enjoying a hot cup of tea.
