The world is a global village that keeps advancing every day. For you to get by, you have to be ready to advance with it, and without the skills required, you will be left behind. I would like to share with you some secrets that you might know but have been living in your subconscious mind.

"Education is the key", What does that mean? It means it is the key that grant you access to the door of opportunity. The certificate you possess, which you got from graduating from a certain institution, can help you get a job but will not open the door to some opportunities. Many people find themselves on Hive without learning mass communication or how to trade crypto, but now they are doing just fine with the skills they have learned.

Sometimes you have to drop that certificate for a while in pursuit of some skills that will set you apart from people who possess the same certificate as you do. The world is very competitive, and no one will wait for anyone to catch up with them. A short story

Back in 2018, I went for a job interview, and there were eight people who applied for the job. After the written and vocal tests, I was asked to do a simple task in Excel. Make an addition and division using Microsoft Excel. I did and one other guy did; it was a hard choice to make between both of us. We were called to the board room and asked, "What can you offer our company?" I thought for a while, but I remembered that I was a member of the Red Cross organization. I told the interviewer I am a certified Red Cross member, with my certificate to prove it.

Now, what is this story trying to tell us? I did not study any medical course but an administrative course, and along the way, I joined the Red Cross to gain some skills, and that was what set me on edge above others and was what got me the job. Education is the key to accessing other opportunities to learn something different.

In this advancing world, you have to enlarge your scope and learn as much as you can with proof to show for it. There are many free finance courses online you can take. Don't waste your week doing the same thing over and over again, like one's life is in a cycle; you have to break out of that cycle and make a change.
