A ghost cry at night; A true life story

Do you believe in ghosts or the afterlife? Well, I am not a believer in things like this, but after the incident I experienced, I had a change of heart, and my mind was open. The story you are about to read is a real-life story.

Upon gaining admission to the university for public administration, I had the chance to live with my uncle, who had been ill for many years. He was a kind man who ensured we had all we needed. He welcomed me and my cousins, who attended a nearby university, into his home because he desired company. Having lost his wife early in life, he chose not to remarry.

One day, during my school years, I received a call informing me that he had passed away. He had been hospitalized for some time, but unfortunately, the doctors could not save him. It was a period of mourning for our family. We proceeded with the necessary arrangements for his burial.

On the day of the burial, something happened. After he was put into the coffin, several people tried to carry the coffin into the van for movement to the graveyard, but all attempts were unsuccessful. I had only heard of things like this but never witnessed them, but on that day, I did. His kids were sermon, and they pleaded with their dead dad shortly after the coffin was easily lifted into the van.

Two weeks after the burial, after all the visitors had left, the house started getting extremely cold at night. I thought it was something normal because we reside on the northern side of the country. My cousin, who was mostly awake at night, said he had heard someone go inside our uncle's room, but when he went to check who it was, he found no one, but his room door was opened. He believes it was the breeze blowing through his window that must have caused the door to open, so he closed the window, and the same thing happened again.

He grew frightened and wouldn't leave his room anymore. I found it amusing and laughed when he shared this with me, as I didn't take him seriously. It all seemed funny until one night, as I slept and my cousin worked on his computer, I was woken up by the sound of someone weeping. The sobbing was loud enough to wake me from my sleep.

With a sleepy face, I turned to my cousin and asked him why he was crying. With shock in his eyes, he looked at me and said he wasn't crying, so I went back to sleep. The same thing happened again, this time louder, and this time the sleep had cleared from my eyes. "Bro, who is crying?" I asked him, and he said he wasn't hearing anyone cry. It was then that we realized what had happened, and we became scared. Different phenomena happened, but after some months, they stopped, and then my belief changed.
