THE FILM THAT REALLY TOUCHED ME

It's another beautiful day called Monday and I am excited to be alive to participate in this beautiful contest. This first edition of week with this powerful theme. What someone sees and hears becomes indelible and not easy to erase.
I'm not a fan of watching lots of movies like that but I think there's one that stood out for me amongst several others. The movie I want to share was what I watched many years a go infact, this is one of the first films I ever watched that got me into critical thinking.

The film titled ultimate power is produced by Mount Zion films. It happened that there are powers that has been fighting people in the village. It brings curse, sicknesses and mysterious deaths. This continues for a while no one to combard them or to stop the ugly incidence. Infact the king is the focal man and custodian of certain powers. A time came where a missionary emerged from the community.
As soon as he stepped into the community things started changing positively which made the council to meet in order to see how this pastor can be frustrated or die. He has become a nuisance to them because what he practices is far different from their kind of lifestyle.

Often the communards goes to renew their covenant with the king as head at a particular place with virgins. The king refused to accept the message and the kind of God the pastor worships. All of a sudden sickness broke out and hit the king's son. He became bedridden for couple of years. The chief priests and other idol worshipers tried their efforts to heal the boy hmmm Every effort proved abortive. Is like the more they tried doing some ritual the more the sickness increases. The king became totally confused simply because his only son is at the point of death. The witches and wizards normally meet at night to plan their evil and how to cause more terrible things to the community. No one had any boldness to confront what has been happening until this pastor stepped in.

What actually paved way for the pastor was that the chief priests and crew went to the shrine for renewal of covenant and sacrifices. Unfortunately they went and dropped food and other eatable items at the foot of the tree. After they left, the pastor was hungry that night Suddenly saw junk of food kept for the gods he quickly came and prayed over it then ate everything including the meat. Later the chief priests guards came and noticed what happened. They went and returned another time and found that it was the missionary that ate everything. The chief priests demanded that they bundled him at once to the king's palace. When the king asked him, he said the gods have eaten nah...Hmm later he started preaching to them and the king asked can this your God heal my son?
At once the pastor says yes. He went straight and prayed for the boy and immediately he was healed. This marveled the entire community and the king. Hmm at once the king accepted the God of the stranger. That's how the ultimate power of God over rode every other power.

This movie made me realise that there is a supreme power. I had to think and recomit myself to God for grace and his direction. No matter the contention of the enemy there's power that over shadows.
