The mystery behind his innocence

It's Saturday again the last day for the submission of week 12 edition3 contest. It's story filled week.

I will share with you a true life story. I was privileged to work in that organisation. This man is a renounced staff with that organisation. He's friendly, and normally help people in his own little way. It happened this day that one of the people he relates with a woman called him to sought for counsel. Unfortunately that was the last dialled phone number on her phone at that moment.

Something happened with that woman, she was kidnapped. The kidnappers now called her husband and told him that his wife has been kidnapped and she's under their custody. Therefore, he must pay a Ramson of 5million naira. The man began to wonder, looking so confused. He started sharing the whole plight with people and his place of worship.
He quickly checked his wife's phone number and suddenly saw the last dialled number. He picked it and call it behold it was that generous and well hearted man answer the call. He began to ask where is his wife? He started accusing him that he know exactly the where about of his wife.

Just like a joke the issue escalated and became more serious than the way we thought of. The husband of the kidnapped wife called the police for the arrest of this innocent man.
Foolishly the police got him arrested on the ground of conniving with unknown people for the kidnap of a woman.

Later, the woman was released but this man still under police custody. Hmmm surprisingly the issue keep getting magnified such that the matter was taken to court. The court now kept the man in prison pending the case verdict.

I kept wondering in my subconsciousness, how can a man be convicted of a crime he never knows anything about neither has he even committed it? Hmmm this is mysterious indeed.

Week in and week out the case kept lingering in the court. Like play this innocent man spent five good months in prison.
As an organisation, we paid him visit and also to encourage him. Trusting that only God will vindicate him over this matter. He gave him food ,etc.

The truth was revealed, hmmm on the final verdict day, the court was so filled to the brim. Most of our staff had to stand outside. The judge began to wonder what kind of case is this that all these came in favour of this innocent man?.
The judge says if this man isn't pure all these congregation wouldn't have turned out like this. He said the witnesses are just everywhere.
He now gave his verdict thus;this man is not guilty of any offence. Immediately that was said people started celebrating. People began to chat how can an innocent man be convicted of a crime he didn't know. This world is wicked ooo. Is it because of one's influence?

Finally the man has been acquitted and has resumed work already. He lost weight during that turbulence moment but he has added a reasonable weight.

False accusation could come anytime but I pray that no one will convict us of any wrong thing. Let's be careful the way we share information and attest to wrong thing.
