In this blog where we enjoy good photos and unforgettable moments, I would like to continue telling you about my anniversary trip to the picturesque town of ** Choroni** in the Aragua State of Venezuela.

In the last post I talked about a place full of beautiful views and some other high-altitude challenges, this time I share with you a view of the past and also the results of the enormous power of the Atlantic Ocean, let's get to it.

In the Malecon which is known since ancient times as Puerto Colombia there are impressive views of steep stones and cliffs carved by the constant waves leaving the incredible shapes and colors of the rock, making it clear how the water in its unstoppable waves has power before a firm rocky structure, thus leaving imprinted in our minds a great lesson:

"Constancy is capable of Moving Mountains."

My beautiful wife and I stood watching with great amazement the swaying of the waves and their beautiful foam that is leaving as a wake every time the water returns to the sea.

At sunset, we set out to take a romantic picture at the luminous sign that says: "CHORONI" placed by the local authorities for the delight of visitors.
Puerto Colombia has a lot of history because it was a place where cocoa was traded a lot in the 1800s. The port had to have security against the possible pirates of the time, because of that, cannons were installed facing the sea, as you can see in the pictures.

The sea has different forces among them is the saltpeter that has been wearing little by little over the years to these imposing cannons, even in one of the photos you can see a fishing boat with a very curious name "Noelia" perhaps has a good story to tell.

We can also see Ysmeira enjoying the warm sea breeze and its peculiar smells full of freshness and full of life, in this beautiful place we could appreciate a spectacular sunset.

Saludos a todos

En este blog donde disfrutamos de buenas fotos y momentos inolvidables, quiero seguir contándoles sobre mi viaje de aniversario al pintoresco pueblo de ** Choroní** en el Estado Aragua de Venezuela.

En el último post les hablé de un lugar lleno de hermosas vistas y algunos otros retos de altura, esta vez les comparto una vista del pasado y también los resultados de la enorme fuerza del Océano Atlántico, vamos a ello.

En el Malecón que se conoce desde tiempos ancestrales como Puerto Colombia hay impresionantes vistas de piedras escarpadas y acantilados tallados por el constante oleaje dejando las increíbles formas y colores de la roca, dejando claro como el agua en su imparable oleaje tiene poder ante una firme estructura rocosa, dejando así impresa en nuestras mentes una gran lección:

"La constancia es capaz de mover montañas ".

Mi bella esposa y yo nos quedamos observando con gran asombro el vaivén de las olas y su hermosa espuma que va dejando como estela cada vez que el agua vuelve al mar.

Al atardecer, nos dispusimos a tomar una romántica foto en el luminoso letrero que dice: "CHORONI " colocado por las autoridades locales para el deleite de los visitantes.

Puerto Colombia tiene mucha historia porque fue un lugar donde se comerciaba mucho con el cacao en el siglo XIX. El puerto tenía que tener seguridad contra los posibles piratas de la época, por eso se instalaron cañones de cara al mar, como se puede ver en las fotos.
El mar tiene diferentes fuerzas entre ellas está el salitre que ha ido desgastando poco a poco a lo largo de los años a estos imponentes cañones, incluso en una de las fotos se puede ver un barco pesquero con un nombre muy curioso "Noelia " quizás tenga una buena historia que contar.

También podemos ver a Ysmeira disfrutando de la cálida brisa marina y sus peculiares olores llenos de frescura y llenos de vida, en este hermoso lugar pudimos apreciar un espectacular atardecer.
