Ethereum just chilling at $2.6K as of 16th October 2024. No idea what can be expected, it could go to $2.8K or blast off. But, well, there's always this nagging sense that we could also hit a brick wall.
Having watched this market long enough, the only sure event is that things rarely work out as planned. When all indicators go up, in comes the seller and the floor caves in.
I remember in 2021 when ETH was testing this similar resistance, it briefly broke, then the crash happened. Since then, I have lost a lot of faith in these kinds of predictions. It sucks when the data screams "bullish" and, in reality, it turns out to be quite something else. You'd ask yourself if these technical patterns of Head and Shoulders and Fibonacci levels are reliable or just the universe's way of playing with our emotions.
But anyways, there's no denying the energy behind this most recent rally. The surge in market buy orders, shooting up, makes me optimistic. But still, caution is needed, as it's still crypto, after all.
