Doing the Math: Leo and Hive Power 2025 Q1 Journey

What's up people, Falcon here, putting together a little mathy blog today. I'm gonna do the math with regards to the goal I set yesterday. Today is kind of like Day 1 for me and I have truly been brainstorming on how I'm gonna set my finances to achieve this goal because I must. I'm already down by one day so 63 to go.

I try my best every day to do some staking, as little or as big as I can do, because my philosophy, which I developed for this journey, is:

Now that I'm including Hive power to the whole mix today, I came up with a philosophy for that too, which I will make a thread about later on Leo threads. But for you reading my blog, here it is:

Now I'm doing all this to make it as much fun for me as possible, so it doesn't look like some tedious headache thing but more like a game. Also, I'm doing this to inspire others on Hive (especially our dear #newbies) that everything is possible, and that their success on this platform depends on their building stake and creating content.

You expect to earn by receiving upvotes. That's the mentality and in fact the advertisement of Hive. Nothing wrong with that - that's what I saw and joined in.

But soon you should be making someone earn too while you continue to earn. That should be the end goal.

Anyway, that's not the subject matter today.

Whew!!! 20K Leo and 700 Hive more before the end of Q1.

Currently at:

• 30500 LP
• 321 HP

Aiming for

• 50K LP
• 1K HP

Every goal should be broken down into years, months, weeks, and days to be a real sensible goal which has the potential to be achieved.

Just saying I want this doesn't cut it. You need to set what you want and when you want it.

So I let ChatGPT help me do a little math since I'm not as good as Khal when it comes to numbers. I asked it how many weeks are in 64 days and the answer was:

To calculate how many weeks are in 64 days:

1 week = 7 days
64 days ÷ 7 = 9 weeks and 1 day.

So, I've got 9 full weeks to make this a reality since day 1 is almost over. Again I asked it "If I'm to raise 700 Hive tokens in nine weeks, how many do I need per week," and here came my answer:

To calculate how many Hive tokens you need to raise per week:

You need to raise approximately 77.78 Hive tokens per week.

I think I can handle that even with the price of Hive, but I will still need a little push through creating content and threads.

Note: All my blog posts have been set to 100% HP because I'm committed to raising the numbers up.

Then Comes Leo

The tricky one is the LP. I asked ChatGPT the same and here is what it said:

You need to raise approximately 2,188.17 Leo tokens per week.

Yikes!!!

Tough for me but possible. Hopefully the pump doesn't happen any moment from now 😜

Whatever happens happens, and regardless I will still fight fight fight, just like the current U.S. President to get the job done.

What unique Strategy have I put in place?

Not much, just the same old law of attraction and putting in the extra hours at work to get it.

Is that all, Falcon? Hell no.

There is this strategy I use that helps me achieve goals set, and I will make a whole blog about it later this week. When I write that I want to achieve, let's say 15K Leo, I set a higher goal in my mind to try to achieve. So say with 15K, I will say to myself I'm doing 25K. That way I push myself to overdo stuff, so in the end I either get it or over-achieve it so I don't fail and give my mind the impression of an unaccomplished person. ChatGPT calls it:

Don't know if that's a thing but it works for me.

So there I have it:
