My Introduction Post on Hive

To everyone, I wish you a happy and successful new year. I go by the name Okafor Faith, on Hive, I am Faithgifty34. I am a single mum.

My home state is Anambra State in Nigeria. As the third child in a family of seven, I am glad to say I came from an extended family. I was raised in a Christian home, and I had a great childhood with my siblings!

I've always been curious about the crypto currency space and wanted to learn more about using it as an alternative form of income. My research into the subject matter brought me to a post on X about Hive that was showcasing a borehole project facility.
My choice to join the Hive Blockchain was sparked by my discovery that it aligns with my writing abilities, which I realized after doing a great deal of study on it.

To be honest, I wouldn't say the path was simple, but up until I discovered the blockchain, my greatest friends were Google and right prompt of inquiry on it. Since I'm still learning the ropes here, I would love to know more about hive.

On my objectives and interest, I have always intended becoming a professional writer, I enjoyed reading and writing from my youth, I write articles too and thanks to my degree Mass Communication where we do a lot of writing, art work, content producing and editing.

Reading, singing, and dancing were things I also liked. I also adore cooking. My favorite foods include fried rice, salad, and other continental cuisines.

Like I said earlier, I’m a single mum, I will be sharing my motherhood adventure with the community's singles and married here on Hive. It always a thing of delight being a parent although it comes with its own as well. Women who are mothers will comprehend what I'm saying.

I've always craved a place to have fun, which takes me back to my time spent doing my National Youth Service.

In my home nation, the National Youth Service is an assignment that follows graduation from a university, polytechnic, or other educational institution during which a student is supposed to serve the country and perform tasks that might be useful to an organization where he or she is posted to. Despite being posted to the state of Anambra, I was assigned to serve as a distributor and counselor tester at the HIV/AIDS department at Kedi Health Center.

Kedi Care provides traditional Chinese medicine as its primary means of treating a wide range of illnesses. It is my duty to help and counsel HIV-positive patients to focus on living with their condition in a peaceful manner rather than worrying needlessly. Trust me if they aren’t properly counselled, some might admit suicide as the next option because they feel they won’t be able to achieve their goals anymore, but a capital NO to that. Goals will be achieved but during this time is a periodic counsel to them on how to live with the condition. I will go into further detail about the event in a later post.

For me, becoming a part of the Hive family is a dream come true. I'll do all in my power to make my stay here joyful, sharing what I know and discovering as much as I can about this incredible place.
