When I think of how far have come,I think of myself as a conduct of the love of God. I don't consider myself ambitious but this one thing is at the forefront of my heart on most days. The past couple of weeks have been beautiful beyond words. Didn't realize how much I missed hanging out with my favorite person in school.
I remember before I gained admission into Delta State polytechnic,I had this doubt that I will ever be able to make friends,I could remember sitting alone in
the middle of the night asking myself questions.
Questions like " what do I really want?" How far can I handle been far away from my family and friends. I could remember being lost in deep thoughts.

I quickly reassured myself that am certainly not embarking on this journey alone,so I had confident in myself and vowed never to belittle myself in any way and never give up.

RESUMPTION
Before resumption I had to call a friend that also schooled there although she's someone have known for a long time,I had to inform her I was coming to Delta State to school, so I sent her money to help me check for a good apartment. Fast forward to when I finally resumed I moved into the hostel,it wasn't what I imagined how it will look like because it was a family compound and less of student dominant the premises. I wasn't comfortable considering the fact that they were so many trees and bushes all around the compound. My parent called I couldn't tell them what I saw,tho they asked me if I was settled already and how I find my new apartment. I had to lie to them I loved it meanwhile I was unhappy about it.
I literally learned to cope and I made few friends in the compound.

FIRST LECTURE DAY.
I attended the first class which was GNS 101( citizenship education) it was a general study .

Back then in secondary school I liked the subject Civic Education So i believed it was similar to the present course am taking,the lecturer was a male and his first topic was on CONSTITUTION. I really enjoyed listening to his teaching. After the end of the class a pretty girl approached me she said her name is Vivian...

I literally enjoyed her company along the line we became friends,from time to time we sat down together during lectures,we went home together,ate together, studied together. We got so used to eachother.
First semester exams was fast approaching we took time to study before the set date,at night we wake up to study together and pray afterward. After the whole stress and burning of candles at night to read,Result finally came out all our efforts and studying wasn't in vain. Everything happened just so fast 🤭same thing happened in second semester the whole process wasn't as easy as that of the first semester. All thanks to God we pulled through.
We finally went for our four months SIWES training. SIWES is a student industrial work experience scheme,I decided to travel back home to unit with my family and resume for my training. During my training process I worked at a studio house I was shown how to make use of the camera and how to take good shots on different angles,I was also shown the different things found in the studio such as the camera, tripod,lights etc.

I was really excited working at the studio. Four months elapsed and it was time for me to go back to school and resume in ND 2 final year as a national diploma graduate. I was excited to finally unit with my friend after four months of not seeing each other , it was time for us to defend our SIWES project .

We finally moved to the next level which was ND 2, throughout the journey it wasn't as easy as when I was in ND I. Presentations on different courses, times we were assigned to different beats to source for news. I enjoyed every seconds, minutes,hours I spent on doing it and how we were asked to cover up an invite that took place at the school premises 😎 being a mass communication student isn't an easy one but I love my course so much. First/ second semester exams came I pulled through, along the line we were grouped for our National diploma project I met with my group members and also our supervisor, he asked us to present topics which we did and I was also assigned the group leader, to me it wasn't an easy task. We finally researched on a topic and presented it to our project supervisor he was okay with it so he asked us to write on it bringing five chapters on it. Tho it took us time before we finished the write up.

PROJECT DEFENSE.
It was time for us to defend our project,our defense officer was already on sit I and my group members were already prepared ,it took few hours before it finally got to our turn. We were scored on our appearance ( dressing), presentation, grammar. We talked about the Audience perception of the use of obscene language in BB naija reality TV show.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
We talked on how the viewers who engage in watching the reality TV show perceive and react to the filthy languages use and how it affect both the older ones and the younger viewers, because in today's contemporary tv life people are exposed to variety of reality TV shows which atimes are unscripted. And most times those who participate in it don't mind using negative words and most times those words used don't inform, educate and uplift the viewers but rather it only entertains and this entertainment comes in demoralised manner.
We were able to convince our defense officer that the media should learn how to be able to cut out those words and make it suitable for the younger viewers to watch.
I literally enjoyed my time doing it and applauded my group members for giving in their best.

The semester finally came to an end and everyone has gone back to their houses 😭😔 I miss those times spent in school.
