Tempeh and Long Beans in Sambal | Recipe for Vegans | Simple but Delicious

Tempeh and long beans are popular food ingredients in my country which are both nutritious. Tempeh is a food ingredient made from soybeans. Long beans are a type of green and long stem-shaped vegetable. Maybe you can check for yourself the benefits of these two food ingredients on Google.

Tempe dan kacang panjang adalah bahan makanan yang populer di negaraku yang mana keduanya bergizi. Tempe adalah bahan makanan yang terbuat dari kedelai. Kacang panjang adalah jenis sayuran berbentuk batang yang hijau dan panjang. Mungkin kalian bisa mengecek sendiri manfaat-manfaat dari kedua bahan makanan ini di Google.

I cooked Tempeh and Long Beans in Sambal and I give the recipe below.

Aku memasak Tempe dan Kacang Panjang Sambal dan aku memberi resepnya di bawah ini.

Ingredients:
• 3 long beans
• Tempeh (1 large size and 1 small size as in the photo above)
• 5 cloves of garlic
• 7 cloves of shallot
• 6 curly red chilies
• 2 pieces of cayenne pepper
• 3 candlenuts
• About 100 ml of water
• About 1 teaspoon of sugar
• About ½ teaspoon of salt
• Soy sauce
• Cooking oil
Bahan-bahan:
• 3 batang kacang panjang
• Tempe (1 ukuran besar dan 1 ukuran kecil seperti di foto di atas)
• 5 siung bawang putih
• 7 siung bawang merah
• 6 buah cabai merah keriting
• 2 buah cabai rawit
• 3 butir kemiri
• Sekitar 100 ml air
• Sekitar 1 sendok teh gula
• Sekitar ½ sendok teh garam
• Kecap
• Minyak goreng

Cara membuat:

● Cut the long beans.

● Cut the tempeh.

● Fry the tempeh with cooking oil.

Goreng tempenya dengan minyak goreng.

● While frying the tempeh, slice 2 cloves of garlic and 2 cloves of shallot.

Sambil menggoreng tempe, potong-potong 2 siung bawang putih dan 2 siung bawang merah.

● Add 3 cloves of garlic, 5 cloves of shallot, curly red chilies, cayenne peppers, 3 candlenuts, and enough cooking oil into the blender. Blend.

Masukkan 3 siung bawang putih, 5 siung bawang merah, cabai merah keriting, cabai rawit, 3 butir kemiri, dan secukupnya minyak goreng ke blender. Blender.

● Fry the garlic slices and the shallot slices in cooking oil.

Tumis potongan bawang putih dan potongan bawang merah dengan minyak goreng.

● Add the blended result, add a portion of 100 ml of water to blended result in blender to remove the blended result if it is difficult to remove from the blender. Stir.

Tambahkan hasil blenderan, tambahkan sebagian dari 100 ml air ke hasil blenderan di blender untuk mengeluarkan hasil blenderan kalau sulit mengeluarkan dari blender. Aduk.

● Add fried tempeh. Stir.

Tambahkan tempe goreng. Aduk.

● Add remaining water. Stir.

Tambahkan sisa air. Aduk.

● Add long bean slices. Stir.

Tambahkan potongan kacang panjang. Aduk.

● Add sugar, salt, and soy sauce. Stir. Check the taste, add what you feel is not enough (if any) then stir.

Tambahkan gula, garam, dan kecap. Aduk. Cek rasanya, tambahkan yang dirasa kurang (kalau ada) lalu aduk.

● Serve.
