Stir-Fried Spicy and Sour Vegetables For My Family's Lunch





Have you ever experienced a situation like me feeling bored and dizzy having to cook every day? I am the same, What side dish should I make today? What lunch should I have? until dinner has to think about side dishes without eating out. Of course I would be happy if I didn't cook for a day, I could eat out and have fun, it would be so much fun to imagine in my mind. But don't sympathize with my life, we all feel that way as housewives, especially having small children, we have to be good at dividing our time, taking care of children, cooking, taking care of our husbands and many more things that housewives have to do, it is indeed not easy to be a housewife, but believe me, it will all pass if we live it sincerely. Let's please ourselves and always be happy when tired, rest when sleepy, don't force yourself because we are the heart of our household, we are happy, the whole house is happy, be enthusiastic about living everyday life because pleasure will await.
For this afternoon I want to cook vegetables, I don't know what else to cook, 2 days later I'll go back to the same menu. Like the situation at my house, I have to think about a menu three times a day to serve to my family because my husband goes to work every morning and my child goes to school so I have to prepare breakfast for my family and also at noon I have to prepare another menu not the same as the morning menu because my husband doesn't like the same menu.

In the morning I have prepared breakfast for my family so now it's time for me to prepare lunch because my husband will be home soon so he doesn't want the menu from this morning. So this afternoon I decided to cook vegetables because this morning there were side dishes now I want to stir-fry vegetables that can make me and my family healthy. Because if we cook vegetables it is very healthy for the family and if we eat vegetables every day it is very good because vegetables contain more vitamins than other foods.

So the ingredients that must be prepared are as follows.



  • Young corn
  • Green beans
  • Water spinach
  • Carrots
  • 3 cloves of red onion
  • 1 small tomato
  • 10 green chilies

Cooking steps

  • First prepare the vegetables, cut into small pieces. I put young corn, kale, carrots and green beans in one container.


  • Secondly slice the red onion, tomatoes and green chilies.


  • Third, wash the vegetables and spices for stir-frying.


  • Fourth Heat the oil, when the oil is hot, add the sliced onions first, then add the tomatoes and green chilies.


  • Fifth, add the vegetables that have been washed clean and add a little water.


  • Sixth Add salt then stir until evenly covered briefly so it cooks quickly.


  • Seventh When it is cooked, turn off the heat and it is ready to serve.


The menu for lunch is more suitable vegetables because vegetables will increase your energy in doing activities so it is very suitable especially if you get the vegetables in your yard because you have planted a lot of vegetables to save money, you don't always have to buy them at the market and if we want to cook a menu for lunch, we don't need to bother going to the market because we can pick them in our yard.

I also cook this baby corn with carrots and green beans very often. Besides being simple and delicious, this food is my son's favorite.

Yes being an housewife sometimes make you feel tired and annoied I'm unoccupied now and I'm an housewife too, isn't easy find what to cook everyday, by the way your dish looks really healthy and good.
