Neoxian-City Writing Prompt #16: THE BEST CELEBRATION OF MY BIRTH🎂

🕺Waoooo, it's another @CityofNeoxian writing prompt and I'm glad to participate again this month. For this prompt 16, i will be writing on the best birthday celebration i ever had and why it's so important to me. Kindly read through as it promises to be worthwhile and enjoyable.

Birthday celebration is one of the two major celebrations every human can witness by privilege with the other been the wedding celebration. The two major birthday celebrations i ever celebrated was when i clocked a decade which was celebrated for me by my parents and the other which i celebrated in year 2020 just after the Covid-19 pandemic when all the restrictions in my country has been lifted. Of these major two birthday celebrations i had, the one of the post covid-19 celebration stood out for me for many reasons.

One of the major reasons why this birthday stood out for me was that it teaches me a grea lesson that whatsoever good one has done at any particular time for anyone in life, it will still come back either from the same person or another most times in a bigger, better form as a surprise. This was actually what i experienced as two of my secondary school mates who we have seen each other for awhile as we all lived in different cities/states in my country came together and organized this small birthday celebration for me as a way of appreciation of my good deeds done over time.

For one, i remembered standing by her and supporting her during her ordeals in secondary school we both attended and also in the University (we both attended the same University by coincidence) when she was on the verge of been dropped out. I did this with no strings attached but as a way of helping a friend out and it's all a story now because she later finished strong in the same university, graduated and now joyfully married. Till today, we still reached out to one another as i too am married and our partners knew each other and the story line.

For the other, i encouraged her to further her studies from just a nursing school graduate to a University nursing graduate by bagging her degree in Nursing. She applied and faced alot of challenges then, but now m, it's all a story as she is now a married woman and also has achieved that. It was surprising how both of them reached out to one another and organise the birthday celebration for me as i was surprised when i received the birthday package from the delivery woman which made it colourful as i celebrated it with the staffs of the Pharmacy i worked with then ad with my neighbor aswell then.

In addition, this same birthday celebration stood out for me as then i was single then, experiencing a smal delay for mobilisation for the mandatory one year national service for graduates in my country because of the lockdown of Covid-19. I had to stay for a year to which coincidentally happens to be after this birthday celebration and also, i got engaged to my wife who was my friend then. This birthday marked a remarkable journey of progress for me on all sides and hence, memorable.
