Portrait drawing of a little boy with a frowned face

Hello friends,
Briefly I would be sharing with you all a portrait drawing of a young boy with a frowned face. I made this drawing after my lectures, I was quite exhausted but I realized the sun has not set so I decided to make one more portrait which I did. What attracted me to this drawing was the fact that it has no serious depth unlike my previous drawings and the expression on his face is kind of dramatic.

I made a rough sketch of the image on my A4 paper at first I was not getting what I want but it's a rough sketch not the drawing. Like have said before I draw from the left to the right hand side to avoid smudging. I started with the left eye then the nose and the right eye. Then I shadeed the forehead and went on to draw out the hair which was really interesting cause he is a blonde.

Getting the flow of the hair was really tough which I saw as a challenge. Normally I would have used my indenting penon this but it won't give me what I wanted so I picked the hair one by one using my 10B pencil after which I drew the ear and the mouth. Then I should out the jaw, it's really interesting making this drawing. I did this drawing on an A4 paper using a 10B Bianyo pencil.
