I haven't come here with a movie-series post for a long time. To be honest, I can say that the reason for this is that I haven't found anything worth watching lately. Since I am a bit too picky about movies, this situation is getting more difficult for me. I'm sure there will be some of you who will say, "What's the point, just watch one of them". But believe me, it doesn't work that way for me at all.
So I thought why not put this among my posts on Hive. I think it will be a good guide for my movie-series posts in the future.

My Movie Selection Criteria

First of all, the genre of the movie.
If you are someone like me who cannot watch every kind of movie, this criterion will also be important for you. For example, I am not someone who prefers to watch horror movies. When I come across one, I immediately pass it by. Or I don't prefer to watch documentary-type movies that deal heavily with history because I find them very boring. Since you are your own best guide in this regard, you can choose which genres to eliminate. But I have to say that sometimes there are movies that, even if they are in genres you don't like, can attract you from the moment you watch them, and pull you into their world. In fact, you should not be prejudiced.

For example, I usually did not find romantic movies about the old period very attractive. But the movie "Pride and Prejudice", which I came across by chance, somehow attracted my attention and I started watching it. I can recommend this movie to you from here, it is a very beautiful work that breaks my prejudice. (I can say that women will especially love it, but men should also watch it so that they can find things to learn from Mr. Darcy).

Secondly, the sine qua non of the movie is the plot.
I can say that the plot is already the best attention-grabbing tool for movies. When we are looking for a movie to watch, we first look at its plot, which already gives us an important impression. That's why screenwriters need to dance with words as much as possible while writing the plot on the cover of the movie. Otherwise, if he describes a great subject with simple words, we will get bored at the 5th second and continue searching for the next movie. Anyway, it is not for the faint of heart to say a lot with a few words.

Thirdly, I prefer that the acting of the cast of the movie is not mediocre.
I can say that this is one of my must-haves. Because no matter how good the lie is, everything is revealed after the liar does not tell it. (I made up this saying myself while writing it, I liked it,) For this reason, it also attracts my attention that the leading actors of the movie are more familiar types. When they are the first work of actors who are usually extremely young, somehow it doesn't feel right. Of course, I am sure there are productions that break this, but it is usually one in a thousand. "Wednesday", which I watched last time, is one of them. In the subject of my next post, I will already criticize the series in detail, but the cast team gave the potential to be very good actors later, even if they did not attract my attention at first.

As my last criterion, the poster cover and the trailer of the movie, which makes some people say why is it necessary.
In my opinion, the poster cover of the movie can give us a clue about the visuality of the movie. I think it is especially important in sci-fi and fantasy movie genres, because these are the movies where visuals and effects are at the forefront. Imagine how amateur a movie that can't even promise anything on its cover can be while watching it.

Therefore, in addition, I am one of those who think that the trailer should definitely be watched.
While preparing the trailer, it should definitely be prepared without spoiling the plot of the movie, giving little information, without going into excessive detail and without revealing the finale. The visuals should also be promising so that we can believe that the movie will be even better.

Uzun zamandır film-dizi postuyla gelmemiştim buralara. Açıkçası son dönemlerde izlemeye değer şeyler de bulamadığımdan diyebilirim bunun sebebini. Film konusunda biraz fazla seçici olduğumdan da iyice zorlaşıyor bu durum benim açımdan. ''Ne gerek var seç biriniz izle işte'', diyenleriniz de olacaktır eminim. Ama inanın benim için hiç de öyle ilerlemiyor o süreç.
Ben de bunu neden Hive'da postlarım arasında bir yere koymayayım ki diye düşündüm. İlerleyen zamanlarda yapacağım film-dizi postlarım için de güzel bir rehber olacağını düşünüyorum.

Film Seçme Kriterlerim

Öncelikle filmin türü.
Eğer benim gibi her tür filmi izleyemeyen birisiyseniz bu kriter de sizin için önemli olacaktır. Örneğin ben korku türü filmleri izlemeyi çok tercih eden birisi değilim. Karşıma çıktığında da hemen pas geçerim zaten. Ya da tarihin ağır bir şekilde işlendiği belgesel türündeki filmleri de çok sıkıcı bulduğumdan çok tercih etmem. Bu konuda en iyi rehberiniz kendiniz olduğundan zaten hangi türleri eleyeceğinizi kendiniz seçersiniz. Ama şunu da söylemeliyim ki bazen öyle filmler vardır ki sizin sevmediğiniz türde dahi olsa sizi izlediğiniz andan itibaren cezbedebilir, kendi dünyasına çekebilir. Aslında ön yargılı olmamak da gerekir.

Örneğin ben genelde eski dönem konulu romantik filmleri çok çekici bulmazdım. Ama tesadüfen karşıma çıkan ''Aşk ve Gurur'' filmi bir şekilde ilgimi çekti ve izlemeye başladım. Buradan da tavsiye edebilirim bu filmi sizlere , benim ön yargımı yıkan çok güzel bir eserdir kendisi. (Özellikle kadınların bayılacağı türden diyebilirim ama erkekler de izlemeli ki Mr. Darcy'den öğrenecekleri şeyler bulabilirler.)

İkinci olarak da filmin olmazsa olmazı konusu.
Konu zaten filmler için en iyi dikkat çekme aracı diyebilirim. Zaten izleyecek film ararken önce onun konusuna bakarız ki orada zaten önemli bir izlenim almış oluruz. Senaristlerin bu yüzden konuyu filmin kapağına yazarken olabildiğince sözcüklerle dans etmesi lazım. Özellikle bu benim olmazsa olmazlarımdandır diyebilirim. Çünkü yalan ne kadar iyi olursa olsun , yalancı söyleyemedikten sonra her şey açığa çıkar. (Bu sözü de şimdi yazarken kendim uydurdum ,beğendim,) Bu sebepten dolayı da genelde filmin başrol oyuncularının daha bilindik tipler olması da dikkatimi çeker. Genelde aşırı genç olan oyuncuların ilk işleri oldukları zaman bir şekilde içinize sinmiyor. Tabi bunu yıkan yapımlar vardır eminim ama binde bir olur genelde. En son izlediğim ''Wednesday'' de bunlardan birisi. Bir sonraki postumun da konusunda zaten dizinin ayrıntılı bir şekilde eleştirisini yapacağım ama kadro olarak başta dikkatimi çekmese de sonradan fazlasıyla iyi oyuncu olabilecek potansiyel verdi cast ekibi.

Çünkü bu tür filmler görselliğin, efektin ön planda olduğu filmler. Düşünün kapağında bile bir şey vaat edememiş bir filmin izlerken ne kadar amatör olabileceğini.
