A Lovely Summer Evening- Güzel Bir Yaz Akşamı [TR/ENG]

Hello dear Hive users, I don't know how this summer is going where you live, but I wouldn't be exaggerating at all if I say it's a scorching summer for Turkey in general. Although my hometown is among the lucky provinces compared to other cities in the region, unfortunately, even this is not enough for us. Although the temperature is not very high, we are in a constant state of sweating due to the excess humidity. As such, we spend these days in a cycle of showering and then sweating and showering again.
Since the days are hotter than the nights, it is very daunting to go out during the day. That's why I recently canceled my hospital appointment at noon lol. For this reason, we decided to leave the daytime activities to the evening hours.
I was texting with my cousin recently and she said that she was bored of sitting at home and wanted to do different things outside. We decided to have a picnic by the beach with an idea from my mom. We prepared for this in the morning, made sweet and salty foods, took our Okey team, our classic Turkish game, and headed to the beach.

When we went there, it was so crowded that we said it was normal that people couldn't stay in their houses because of the heat. But there was such a problem that it was very difficult to find a place to sit. Fortunately, we managed to sit at the table of a family that was getting up at that time without anyone sitting down. Since my mom was going to leave work a little late, we decided to play okey with my cousins and my brother while we were waiting for her.

I'm rusty because I haven't played for a while, unfortunately, I can say that everyone won except me. We used to play a lot with @incublus on mobile, we used to win most of the time, so it was actually about the harmony of the two of us.
It's not a big deal, there is a saying that the loser in gambling wins in love, it really can be like that sometimes lol.

After my mom arrived, we set the table with the girls while my brother-in-law prepared the tea in a picnic tube.

While all the girls were doing something, my little cousin was watching Instagram reels videos with her tablet in her hand with her feet stretched out 😅 I guess this is what they call the current generation Z. When they are born in technology, it is difficult for them to break away. Fortunately, while we drank our tea and ate something, he took a ride on his bicycle and released his energy a little bit. Even though we don't get bored at home, nothing can match the energy that nature gives us.

We tried to relax a little bit by putting our feet in the sea, thinking that we don't know when we will come back, because we can't always spare time for ourselves because of work. The water was so refreshing for our body and soul, even though it was surprising at first that the water was so cold despite the heat outside.

That evening, it was nice for all of us to spend time chatting and listening to the live music coming from the bar across the street behind us.

As the clock ticked, no one felt like getting up, but since everyone had work tomorrow, we slowly got up and headed home.

Merhaba sevgili Hive kullanıcıları, bu yaz sizin yaşadığınız yerde nasıl geçiyor bilmiyorum ama Türkiye'nin geneli için kavurucu bir yaz desem hiç de abartmış olmam. Ki benim memleketim diğer bölgedeki şehirlere göre şanslı iller arasında yer almasına rağmen bu bile bizim için yeterli olmuyor maalesef. Sıcaklık olarak çok yüksek değerler olmamasına rağmen nem fazlalığından dolayı sürekli bir terleme halindeyiz. Hal böyle olunca sürekli duş alıp sonra terleyip tekrar duş alma döngüsü halinde geçiriyoruz bu günleri.

Gündüzler gecelere göre daha sıcak olduğu için gün içinde dışarı çıkmak çok göz korkutucu geliyor. Sırf bu yüzden geçenlerde öğle saatlerinde olan hastane randevumu iptal ettim lol . Bu sebepten biraz da gündüz yapacağımızı aktiviteleri akşam saatlerine bırakmaya karar verdik.

Kuzenimle geçenlerde mesajlarken evde oturmaktan sıkıldığını dışarda farklı şeyler yapmak istediğini söyledi. Annemden gelen bir fikirle sahil kenarında piknik yapmaya karar verdik. Bunun için sabahtan hazırlık yaptık tatlı-tuzlu yiyecekler yapıp, klasik Türk oyunumuz olan Okey takımımızı alıp sahilin yolunu tuttuk.

Gittiğimizde o kadar çok kalabalıktı ki insanların sıcaktan evlerde duramadığını bunun çok normal olduğunu söyledik. Ama şöyle bir sıkıntı vardı ki oturacak yer bulmak da haliyle çok zor oldu. Neyse ki o sırada kalkmakta olan bir ailenin masasına kimse oturmadan oturmayı başardık. Annem işten biraz geç çıkacağı için onu beklerken biz de kuzenlerim ve kardeşimle okey oynayalım dedik.

Bayadır da oynamadığım için paslanmışım, maalesef ben hariç herkes kazandı diyebilirim. @incublus 'la eskiden mobilden çok oynardık çoğu zaman kazanırdık aslında demek ki ikimizin uyumuyla alakalıymış.
Çok da önemli değil bir söz var kumarda kaybeden aşkta kazanır diye gerçekten de öyle olabiliyor bazen lol.

Annem de geldikten sonra eniştem çayı piknik tüpünde hazırlarken biz de kızlarla masayı kurduk.

Bütün kızlar bir işin ucundan tutarken küçük kuzenim de elinde tabletiyle ayaklarını uzatmış pozisyonda Instagram reels videoları izliyordu 😅 Şimdiki Z kuşağı dedikleri bu olsa gerek teknolojinin içinde doğunca kopmak da zor geliyor onlara. Neyse ki biz çaylarımızı içip bir şeyler yerken o da bisikletiyle turlar atıp enerjisini biraz da olsa boşalttı.
Her ne kadar evde sıkılmasak bile doğanın bize vermiş olduğu enerjiyi hissetmeyi hiçbir şeyle karşılayamayız.
Biz de daha ne zaman geliriz belli değil düşüncesiyle ayaklarımızı denize sokarak biraz da olsa rahatlamaya çalıştık. Çünkü iş güç derken kendimize her zaman vakit ayıramıyoruz. Su da o kadar iyi geldi ki dışardaki sıcağa karşın suyun bu kadar soğuk olması başta şaşırtsa da bedenimiz ve ruhumuz için fazlasıyla ferahlatıcıydı.

O akşam sohbetler edip arkamızdaki karşı caddede olan bardan gelen canlı müziği dinleyerek zaman geçirmek hepimiz için güzel oldu.
Saat ilerledikçe kimsenin kalkası gelmese de yarın herkesin işi olduğu için yavaştan kalkıp evimizin yolunu tuttuk.
