Kizz Daniel; The Brouhaha and His Pride.

I'm one person that doesn't support wrongdoings even if you happen to be a favorite of mine. When it comes to music I'm a big lover of Nigerian music and Kizz Daniel happens to be one of my favorites l Nigerian musicians. But recently his attitude hasn't been proper.

Who's Kizz Daniel?
Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe Nigerian singer-songwriter better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel. He is well known for his hits Woju and Laye.

Kiss Daniel was his previous stage name before he changed it in May 2018. In 2013, he agreed to a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment, but he later parted ways with the label after a highly publicized legal battle and contract dispute. The old record label brought a lawsuit against him, but luckily he was cleared of all the charges.

In November 2017, he established the record company Fly Boy Inc. he welcomed triplets along with his enigmatic girlfriend, on May 1, 2021: Jamal, Jalil, and Jelani. Later on, he bought a two-bedroom condo for Jalil and Jelani. He made public of how he lost one of his triplets, Jamal, just four days after his birth.

Yesterday, it was news all over the internet that Kizz Daniel was arrested in Tanzania. He reportedly collected thousands of dollars and failed to perform at an event.
The Buga crooner was seen in a video trending online being walked into a Police van upon his arrest in far away Tanzania.

According to sources Kizz was arrested for breach of contract and will be charged to court according to the Tanzania law.

This wasn't the first time within a few Weeks the singer has been in the news for bad reasons this has resulted in fans saying that the singer is proud and arrogant as he had been earlier accused by his colleagues in the music industry.

Kizz Daniel And The Allegations of Pride

It is believed by many that the Buga crooner is a proud singer as he follows absolutely no one on his official Instagram page even though he's been followed by top Nigerian celebrities that garnered him a whooping 9.6 million followers.

One time he was accused of being proud by his colleague Harrysong, after a fued ensued between them when he (Kizz Daniel) was featured on a song by Harrsong, over an alleged breach of an agreement.

However, the Pour Me Water crooner came out in an interview to debunk the wrong perception, claiming that he is only being misunderstood by peers and colleagues and that he's only a private and introverted person who doesn’t do well socializing with others.

In his words;
It is very untrue. I’m a very private individual and a very reserved guy so a lot of people tend to misinterpret that for hubris or arrogance.

Well, if the singer is proud this definitely isn't good for his career as we all know that pride takes nobody anywhere. And we hope that the management and the singer retraces his steps because the recent wahala isn't good for his brand.

Until that happens I wish one of my favorite singer well in his future plans.
