Chike's Brothers Keeper [Album Review]
My excitement has been uncontrollable ever since Chike announced the release of his sophomore album "The Brother's Keeper," and the cause is not difficult to imagine.
The new album, "The Brother's Keeper," is a follow-up to his chart-topping debut album, "Boo Of The Booless," which was released in 2020 and received a lot of positive reviews across the African continent, earning it numerous award wins and nominations, including one for Album of the Year at the Headies.
Chike, a young musician in the field, stunned the globe with his debut album "Boo of the Booless." The film "Boo of the Booless" was brilliant.
Some media publications have dubbed it the best Nigerian album of 2020. It was a success on streaming services and demonstrated Chike's dominance of the music industry.
His follow-up album, "The Brother's Keeper," is currently one of the most eagerly awaited albums in Nigeria for 2022.
Azana, Flavour, and Ycee are featured on the brand-new album "The Brother's Keeper."
The album's production team included Tee-Y Mix, Killertunes, Lord Sky, Echo The Guru, and others.
"Boo of the Booless" is the name of Chike's debut album, a reference to the fact that he is there for anyone who doesn't feel loved or have anyone to show them love. In fact, it was evident in the way that women praised and discussed the record. I learned about this particular album via a woman, and that is how I first became enamoured with Chikes' musical style.
Now, the title of his sophomore album, "The Brother's Keeper," also conveys the message that he exists to meet the needs of all people, regardless of gender or personality.
Please is a song he talks and prays that his struggles for a better life not be a waste. This is my favorite of the album.

Enough He sings to his lover of how he puts in his best to prove that he's enough yet her doubt and recklessness doesn't let her see it. He starts doubting if truly he's enough.
You deserve ft Ycee is a slow tempo song that tells his lover of how she deserves more than how she's being treated by him. But he's so selfish to let her go.
Pour me a drink is a song from a tired soul. A soul that's tired of all the promises and fail and is willing to give up.
In zamo He tries to remind his lover of all the good times. Along the line asks her what her reaction will be if the hood times are gone. Will she stay or leave? Asi kwamu ka malu nu, zamo zamo
Winner She praises his love interest in this song and talks of how she won his heart over.
He sings about the beauty of Africa in My Africa and how he's ready to take his lover all over the African continent. He goes on to call names of African countries.
In spell Just as the name sounds, it talks of how his love interest cast a spell on him.
Tell am is a melodious song that sings of how he's in love with a girl and everything about her. He goes on to plead with his friends to help him tell her of how he feels about her.
