Sweetest perfection
I don't usually post sepia photos. I generally prefer the cleaner grey tones, but maybe because I don't do it, I decided to play with sepia this time. Why not try something new, right? :)
And the struggle has begun. I tried all kinds of photos to see how they will look after I remove colours from them and then add some warm tones. And I didn't like any of them. Too messy, too boring, I like the colours here, so I don't want to change it...
Nope, nope, nope.
Until I found the little autumn roses. Simple, clean shots with soft lines. That's it! That's the one!
It was one of the last roses that tried to bloom last fall at my mums garden. It was getting cold, and you can see some scaring on the petals. Originally it was peachy pink with some daker pink on the edges. Very pretty. But this time I wanted to strip all the colours and make it look more vintage.
One more from the same bush, and even a younger one.
The roses did not manage to open fully. Cold, rainy days stopped the growth, and the closed flower eventually died and dropped.
This is a leftover after a summer rose that went through all the stages.
Hungry beast always present :)
The roses are not sprayed with chemicals since they grow close to vegetables. It happens that some hungry bugger will much on the flowers or leaves from time to time. Not a terrible thing if it is just a few bites. It starts to be very annoying when stubborn aphids decide to take over and the whole bush suffers.

You chose beautiful shots for your edits
Thank you very much for sharing this creation
have a beautiful afternoon
Thanks a lot! :)
I remember those roses that never made it to fully open because of the cold. It was a sad feeling to see them die before they fully lived. How cool is the photo with the water droplets!
Yea it is a bit of a shame. But they other had the whole summer to bloom. It is a very pretty bush.

Caterpillar bites on leaves even become very interesting if photographed with a good angle and color and light arrangement.
Thank you!

I was very interested in the writing and the results of the photo shoot of a rose with raindrops on the rose... Amazingly beautiful bro @ewkaw 👍

Yes, you're welcome sis @ewkaw 👍
It's always good to try something new 🙂 I agree with you about the cleaner gray tones... I like it much more but, I would also like to do something in sepia at some point. I think you got beautiful results, nice sepia shots @ewkaw friend ;)
Yea, once in a while won't hurt. Try with some random photos. Maybe you'll like it :)
Wow... You didn't play in vain with sepia, I was amazed at the result, because I really liked roses, my brother's perfect shot.
Thanks! It will be a while for the next sepia edits though :p
These pictures are really beautiful. Well done
Thank you!
Each rose petal can be seen closely in your photograph. The drops of water on the rose petals look really beautiful. Your macro photographs are amazing. @ewkaw

I like sepia. In fact I used to run the sepia Saturday tag. I like to take a modern photo and try to doctor it up so it looks like it was taken many many years ago LOL.
Oh the fun of making foto looks completely different is cool. I was never huge fan of sepia. I can't explain why.
