Horses and webs
Shooting against the light can be so much fun! And give pretty interesting results. Usually I do that when I want to catch some nice silhouettes. No Photoshop needed :)
But this time it was a perfect way to capture all the silky spiderweb spread on the grass. I just wanted to catch the sunset that was looking promising (it wasn't that great after all), but got this instead.
I just love the warm light and hazy air. It gives that feeling of a hot day. It wasn't - in was one of the coldest evenings with just a few degrees C. There was no wind at all, no birds, just the horses slowly walking around. In the distance, you can see the start of a nice fog.
It is a private property, so I stayed on the path, but I can imagine how amazing all this would look after a foggy morning, for example.
I used my Tamron 70-300 to zoom on the horses, but since they were pretty far away, this is the best I could do with this lens.
I don't know how about you, but I really like those lens flares that sometimes appear on photos. All depends on how the light hits the glass. And yes - I could Photoshop them to make the photo look cleaner. But I never do.
Shot with Nikon D5500 + Tamron 70-300 lens
