FungiFriday - The cozy spot

The forest I would normally go to pick some mushrooms is not very big. There is an asphalt road on one side and in whichever direction you'd go you will end up on someone's field. You just cant get lost (though I did end up in different parts than I was planning to a few times). You just walk from one hill to another until you have enough.

The cool thing about it is, that most of th area is very clean. With mostly slim pines and not very many shrubs or younger trees it is a pleasure to walk. As if someone was regularly clean the place from all the broken branches and trim what is not supposed to grow there.

But still... once in a while I could find fewer pieces of decomposing wood. No, it did not fall on its own. It was cut down and then piled up. It was just not picked up on time so it started to fall apart.

And this is what mushrooms like :) nothing like rotten wood. Yum!

It was not hard to spot - white bitch bark against green mosses and where most trees ar brown. I wouldn't be me if I didn't go check it out. And I am glad I did :)

Th little peachy Mycena mushrooms were all nicely tucked in the middle of the rotten bits surround by moss. There were also som nice Turkey tails around them. Quite a lovely set of colours.

My dear friend, you are a "photo machine", always attractive to the eye... You have captured a little fairy tale composed of tiny mushrooms, wood and moss!.... The white balance and temperature is such that I can almost smell the forest!.... I'm serious, believe me.... That kind of "photographic instinct" is not learned, you are born with it!.... Bravo!...

I'm not an expert on fugnhi... from a research point of view, as far as eating them I'm a "competition eater" heh heh!

however, hunting for mushrooms has always fascinated me, probably because woods and forests bring me peace and serenity, I would certainly limit myself to taking beautiful walks and I would find very few mushrooms... for that, however, when it happens, I go in the company of an expert friend and let's share the loot heh heh!

Good pictures, the world of fungi is so interesting, to me they seem to be one of the strangest living things on the planet, greetings.

You found a cute bunch there! We have a type of forest like this here too. Only a small portion of woodlands is like this though, mostly mixed trees in other parts. Love the last picture so much! it's almost alive 😍

AI still has a lot of learn! Second attempt at least gave some mushrooms ;)

I like this on cause it is so easy to walk around. And allways some mushrooms alroud. It is quite old forest.

AI still has a lot of learn!

Hehe yep :) Its fun to see th result though. And I think there are better programs to get something rally nice.

Easy to walk around indeed. And so quiet, I call in quiet forest 😁

I hope AI won’t learn too fast though. The first platform I wrote articles on is no longer distributing tips, because of AI abuse 🥹 Apparently they can now write better than some of us!

Very cool little mushrooms! It amazing how those little micro ecosystems pop up everywhere. All it takes is for a few sticks to fall on the ground, and nature turns it into an entire complex of symbiosis.

Beautiful photos and AI pictures! Is it okay to post generated ones only? Mushrooms will be asleep for several more months in my country 😄
