FungiFriday - shiny and smooth

small orange mushrooms pl 1.jpg

There are times (most of the times actually) that I come back from the woods with more photos than mushrooms in a basket. Even though I do go mainly to pick some. I guess I would have to leave the camera at home to concentrate just on that one task, but please... I would be so pissed off every time I see a nice one and I just have to leave it alone without even a tiny little photo.. So pissed off!

So I drag my bazooka with me and I shoot almost every little shroom I see.

Quite normal :D

The little orange ones were visible from a distance. Especially after the rain that made all shiny and slimy (I think.. I didn't touch them! Again forgot to do the one thing!).
And looks like they are quite tasty too. At least for some little forest creatures. My guess it is a slugs job.

A little group here and tere. The forest floor is full or rotten pieces of wood and they obviously loved it. A little lower you will see them growing directly from a falling apart stump.

The birth of a new life is a dirty, dirty job. Isn't it? :p

And here is the stump. Isn't it gorgeous with al the moss hanging on it? And then the tiny little orange hats. Gotta love all the colours!

One more for the road.
Not exactly the same type, not as orange as the other ones, but it was there next door so it got shot as well.
But what a minute..

What is that dark brown shiny thing? Can you see it?
All snuggled between mosses?

Oh yes - it is one of the delicious Boletus. This little guy went home with me :)

Yes, how can you not take the camera into a wood 🌳🌳 to many cute mushrooms to photograph.
Those orange ones are adorable 🥰
Beautiful captures. I like the ones next to the stump.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a wonderful weekend 👋🏻😊

I would say that it is almost impossible to visit a forest dear friend @ewkaw and not carry a camera, as you know, there is always the possibility of finding or discovering a beautiful variety of mushrooms
These that you have found are very bright and beautiful.
Great shots, congratulations, I appreciate you teaching
enjoy the weekend

That's true! Though it is impossible for me to enjoy the walk when I have a camera with me. I just shoot instead of walking :D

The stuggle is real! I often do not have my camera (phone) with me when I go for walks, and always regret not bringing it. Love the colors you capture in the woods, love them.

I hardly take my phone. I used to take so many photos with it and then end up not liking any... so I stopped :p

The orange ones kind of remind me of slippery jacks a nice edible bolete but your's have gills so they are something different.

Hmm. I think the slippery jacks are a lot bigger than the ones I found. They were smaller than a walnut.

Only that one brown was bolete. That one I am sure of :)

Lovely orange against the fallen pine cones and moss around, lucky find with a tasty dinner spotted because you had your camera and were enjoying time looking closely!

Yea the contrast is pretty amazing.

The little guy was dried and packed in a jar for winter :)

Delicious, also knowing you storing away for months when not available fresh.

Good thing you didn't forget to take the little Boletus with you. I didn't know that, from small mushrooms can come out such beautiful photos.

Yes, but my cousin and my school friend prefer to go to the parks, and I won't go alone 😉
