Ocean Power Pendant inspired by walle radiant

Greetings my dear community of @holozing as you already know I have shown you my passion for both the fanart for all these characters of this new hive game, as well as the type of material with which I like to develop my different projects, showing you the beautiful works of art that can be made from something as simple as recycling materials that eventually end up in the trash and thus give it a new use, as this time I was inspired by the character Walle now its radiant version, it came to my mind what better way to make something in this case a pendant, using plastic which is the main pollutant of our seas, now converted into a beautiful accessory to use and join my collection of fanart.

We start this beautiful project by first separating the CD to work with its transparent part, but not before cleaning it with cotton and a little alcohol to remove a purple ink that it has and thus be completely clean. We cut a circle and cut out, then with a file we will smooth the edge to eliminate any imperfection. Taking the plastic circle as a reference, we are going to mark on the eva rubber in blue frost color and cut it so that both are of the same size.

Now on the pink and white cardboard we are going to mark both pieces of Walle radiant and we are going to cut them out, marking all the details on them, then we join both pieces by gluing them on the circle of blue frosted eva rubber and at the same time we mark all the lines of the border as well as adding color to the eye.

As a last step we make a hole in both circles where we can hang and then apply clear glue to join and thus encapsulate and protect the design, however I could not finish my accessory without adding a little shine and a nice finish with a few flat blue crystals glued around the edge of the circle.

In this way we finish this nice project of my fanart collection as it is a pendant with the power of the ocean, inspired by radiant walle, also with a great message about the conservation of our seas to preserve the life of marine species, all this doing something as easy as it is to avoid pollution by practicing the habit of recycling in my case for creative purposes.
