Autumnal Knit Progress

Summer feels like long gone, only a few warmer days here and there, and it’s already time to pack away the summer frocks and get ready with more layers.

I started my first knit for the coming winter a couple weeks ago and I’m making good headway with my hopefully soon-to-be super long cardigan.

I knitted until the waist and now I’m taking a detour by knitting the sleeves. That part is a bit annoying because you need to turn the work a lot and the body already has quite a bit weight on it.

I can’t wait to get the sleeves done so I can really start to see how the cardi will end up looking on me. I suspect that this might become a go-to knit for the winter.
