Hello, my dear Hive friends! Today, I come to tell you something that happened this weekend. Honestly, I don't know if laugh or cry. Fortunately, it didn't happen to me, nor was it at my house. This time, this crazy episode happened to my best friend.

Her name is Lorena, and this past Friday, her cousin invited her to watch the movie "The Nun 2." Although she's a bit easily scared, just like me, she accepted to do something different this weekend.

Hola, mis queridos amigos de hive! Hoy vengo a contarles algo que pasó este fin de semana. Sinceramente, no sé si reír o llorar. Por suerte no me sucedió a mi, ni fue en mi casa. Esta vez este loco episodio le tocó a mi mejor amiga.
Ella se llama Lorena y este viernes pasado su prima la invitó a ver la película "La Monja 2".
Si bien ella es medio asustadiza al igual que yo, aceptó para hacer algo diferente ese fin de semana.

They went to the cinema on Friday around 5 PM. The movie lasted approximately two hours. Although they chose that time to avoid going to the cinema at night, when they came out, it was already getting dark, and it was quite cold and cloudy.

Lore left the cinema and went home, and even though the movie didn't seem so terrifying to me, she came out scared from the cinema. So much so that before going to bed, she left all the lights on.

But that's not all...

In her bedroom, she has her bed against the wall, and next to it, she has a huge mirror that used to belong to her grandmother.

Fueron al cine el viernes alrededor de las 17Hs. La película duró aproximadamente dos horas. Si bien eligieron ese horario para no ir de noche al cine, cuando salieron ya estaba oscureciendo y hacía bastante frio, además de estar nublado.
Lore salió del cine y fue directo a su casa y si bien la película a mí no me pareció tan terrorífica, ella salió asustada de la sala. Tal es así, que antes de ir a dormir dejó todas las luces encendidas.
Pero eso no es todo...
En su habitación, ella tiene su cama pegada a la pared y al lado de la misma, tiene un enorme espejo que era de su abuela.

It turns out that after leaving the lights on, she also decides to cover the mirror with a sheet so that she can't see anything while lying down. It's not something she usually does, but let's remember that she was scared.
We all know that there are thousands and thousands of myths and legends that tell us that mirrors are often a kind of "portals" between us and the spiritual world. In fact, the first movie of "The Nun" addresses this theme. So, that was the reason Lore decided to cover it that night.

Before falling asleep, she spent a lot of time trying to distract herself with social media, but without success. It was hard for her to fall asleep, but she managed it.

When she woke up in the morning and saw that it was already daylight, she decided to get out of bed, make breakfast, and then clean her house. By this point, she had lost her fear because it was daytime. But when she decided to clean her room, she realized it wasn't quite that way.
It's because when she removed the blanket from the mirror, she noticed that it was broken at the bottom 😱😱.

Resulta ser que luego de dejar las luces prendidas, también decide tapar el espejo con una sabana para no poder ver nada al estar acostada. No es algo que haga normalmente pero recordemos que estaba asustada.
Ya sabemos que hay miles y miles de mitos y leyendas que cuentan que los espejos suelen ser una especie de "portales" entre nosotros y el mundo espiritual. De hecho, la primer película de "La Monja" aborda este tema. Así que ese fue el motivo por el que Lore decidió taparlo esa noche.

Antes de dormirse estuvo mucho tiempo tratando de distraerse con las redes sociales pero no tuvo éxito. Le costó mucho conciliar el sueño pero lo logró.

Al despertar por la mañana y ver que ya había amanecido, decidió levantarse de la cama, prepararse el desayuno para luego limpiar su casa.
Ya a estas alturas había perdido el miedo porque además, era de día. Pero cuando decidió limpiar su habitación, se dio cuenta de que no era tan así.
Es que al retirar la manta del espejo, notó que este estaba roto en la parte inferior 😱😱

Obviously, this generated a lot of fear and desperation for her because SHE LIVES ALONE, and this happened while she was sleeping. And if it wasn't her...
On the other hand, that mirror has sentimental value. So, it was a mix of feelings.
Primarily, she got scared and found it super strange; she can't explain it since she had never experienced anything like it before.
So, that same night, I invited her to sleep at my house so she wouldn't be alone, but I forgot a small detail...
The couch where guests sleep is next to a huge mirror. 🤣
When I went to say goodbye to her before going to bed, I noticed that she was trying to cover my mirror."

Obviamente esto le generó muchísimo miedo y desesperación porque ELLA VIVE SOLA y esto ocurrió mientras ella dormía. Y si ella no fue ..........
Por otra parte, ese espejo tiene valor sentimental. Por lo que fue una mezcla de sentimientos.
Principalmente, se asustó y le pareció super extraño, no logra explicarlo, ya que jamás había vivido algo parecido.
Así que esa misma noche la invité a dormir a mi casa para que no esté sola, solo que me olvidé de un pequeño detalle....
El sillón en el cual duermen los huéspedes está pegado a un espejo enorme. 🤣
Cuando fui a despedirme de ella para irme a la cama, noté que estaba queriendo tapar mi espejo.

Fortunately, this time it didn't escalate, and my mirror didn't break 🤣.
The truth is, we still can't believe it or explain it. The mirror was in perfect condition; she's had it for years, and there's really no way she could have broken it in her sleep because, as you can see in the photos, there's a certain distance separating the bed from the mirror.

In conclusion, we don't know what exactly happened.

Por suerte esta vez no pasó a mayores y mi espejo no se rompió 🤣.
La verdad que todavía no lo podemos creer ni explicar. El espejo estaba en perfectas condiciones, lo tiene hace años y realmente no hay manera de que ella lo haya roto dormida porque como se ve en las fotos, hay una cierta distancia que separa a la cama del espejo.

En conclusión, no sabemos qué ocurrió exactamente.
