How I spent my Saturday
It was a lovely weekend plus a stressful one, one of my brother's friends got married yesterday and I was there to help, it all started on Friday Evening but the main event was yesterday which was Saturday.
Yesterday was a happy moment for my brother, I call him my brother because he is now part of our family, we are so close that is why this event took my time, though I am someone who doesn't like to attend parties but this one is very compulsory for me to attend.
I saw the joy on their faces, and it is a good thing to tie the knot, I had never seen this man so happy as he was yesterday, he is a shy type but yesterday was different, I saw this man dancing as if he let me leave that part.
As the sharp girl that I am, I went to the party with my friend, she came to visit and we decided to go to the party together so that she wouldn't be the only one at home, trust me the part was worth it, we ate to our satisfaction and also danced with the couple, I danced and spray the little cash I had in my purse forgetting that I will go back home.
This wasn't funny at all, I was carried away by the music and continued to spray money as If I were the celebrant, I spent every, the major problem was that I left my ATM at home when I realized that I had spent more than my budget I coupled up but it was too late because I was left with #200 and my transport is #1500. Do you wish to know how I got home?
The musical bands had taken to another realm with their songs, trust Yoruba party now, they will always deliver the best when it comes to parties, that is one thing I love about this culture, Yorubas will make parties so fulfilling and wish to attend more with their foods and souvenirs.
Like I was saying, thank goodness I have my phone with me, so I trekked some meters with my friend before we saw a POS stand then I had to transfer using my bank app, my friend spent all her money too so we became stranded but we later withdrew money and go back home.
It was fun though because I danced as if I were the celebrant and I got to meet other friends who are far from us, this wedding brings all of them together. This was how I spent my Saturday.

Hahaha. Thank God you got another way to withdraw some money and went home. In such a situation, I would calculate my budget oo so I don't become stranded. Hehehe 😀
Couples tend to be more happy and joyous on their wedding day because it's always a beautiful time and as the first step into forever.
My dear, I would have walked home if there was no alternative yesterday, I was enjoying the music and spraying the money in my purse never knowing that I would come back to square one
