Why Dwell In The Past Experiences, When There Is A Lot in the Future

It's fresh, new energy and vibes, starting something fresh, not looking back to the lost opportunities of yesterday, everyday is a new opportunity.

Back to the discussion of today, my last year birthday I was listening to my mentor advising me one of the things he said that really struck my mind was he said every year when people celebrate birthdays is not actually plus one but minus one, I was confused at first then he went further to explain when you celebrate birthdays it's means you're automatically close your dying day which means you're not Plus one but minus one. After listening to him I was afraid of my life. I realized that each year I celebrate birthdays is actually reducing my year of living on earth.

Will I love to reduce my age, well my answer to this question is no. I have so many reasons why I will not like to reduce my age, I've heard people say adulthood is a scam well to them but for me is not, become who I am today is a better experience for me, some people do complaining that if they have the opportunity the will reduce their age and go back to the youthful age to correct some mistakes they have made in the past. The past is in the past, there is no point going back or crying over the spilled milk when there is an opportunity to start from where you are not to correct the future.

There are a lot of things awaiting me in the future and I can't wait to get there. While dwelling on the past experiences, I have experienced my childhood days and that's enough for me. I have grown up now and I love the lady I am becoming. When I was listening to a friend of mine she was complaining that because she is now grown up her parents no longer give her big money so she is regretting of becoming an adult, I felt bad for her like the level of irresponsibility in her is too much, if you listen to people who are wish there are younger than what they are not is because they don't want to take responsibilities, yes very true maturity comes with responsibilities, when one is matured there is level of maturity that is expected from him/her.

I love the lady I am becoming because I take responsibility for my life to some extent. When I was a child I was so Irresponsible, I never took responsibility for anything. My life was just up and down. I was just living the way I see life. But as maturity set in Iand my life was changed, my parents are actually proud of me, some many people want to remain young forever, it is not supposed to be so whether you like it all or not maturity will surely take place if you don't grow then you're stunted.

I want to be responsible for my actions in life and make decisions for the betterment of my life. There is a lot in the future and we can't see even if we try to peep. We will only get to see what the future holds for us when we get there. I want to influence my world and that will only happen when I begin to take responsibilities for certain things not remaining in one position.
