A Rural Ride: Helping Grandma on the Farm with a Big Bicycle

Hello everyone,
Happy Sunday to you all, still in the weekend I had a beautiful experience visiting grandma in the village, this has always been an amazing adventure. But this weekend was exceptional. One of the most memorable experiences from my recent trip. Because I had the time to spend helping her on the farm, using her trusty old bicycle with a big carrier at the back.

As soon as I arrived at my grandma's house she didn't waste any time putting me to work. She needed assistance transporting the cassava she harvested from the farm where she was cultivating her crops, the farm is a little bit far from goods and we needed to carry the load on the bicycle. It was not that difficult to do with the help of the big bicycle with a carrier.

At first when I saw the bicycle it was appearing ancient to me, with rusted pedals and faded paint. I was like do people still have this? But my grandma assured me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, that the bike is still in good working condition, it was a reliable workhorse that had served her faithfully for decades, yeh cause I still remember when i was a child this was the same the same bicycle she had, meaning that it has been working for years now. With a little bit of oil I added to the necessary part and a couple of adjustments, it was ready to take on any task.

I hopped on the bicycle, I was not certain at first but later on the ride I had this mixed feelings of excitement and a little fear. I was trying to balance my weight and that of the carrier which was carrying the load, this was not an easy feat, but with grandma's guidance, I soon found my rhythm. As we pedaled down the dusty village roads, passing fields of swaying crops and quaint wooden houses, I couldn't help but marvel at the simplicity and beauty of rural life.

Arriving at the farm, I quickly realized the true value of the big carrier on the bicycle. Unlike the sports bicycle I have in the city that can only transport one person at a time, this one can transport two people at once because of its big carrier . Grandma told me that she often used the bicycle to transport her produce to the market, saving her both time and money.

Working alongside grandma in the fields was an experience like no other. As we planted seeds, pulled weeds and also did the harvesting. I find myself appreciating the hard work and dedication required to sustain a livelihood in agriculture as a young farmer. Even while we were working, there was also laughter, storytelling, and moments of quiet reflection.

That was how I step my weekend in grandma's house, having fun with the big bicycle.

Thanks for stopping by, i really appreciate

Great experience with Grandma, you have done well by reminding me that technology can not totally take away some certain things. This was the first graded bicycle of those days, but today we tend to use the spot bicycle. One thing I admire so much in all your content is that is greens a meaning to a proudent reader.
