Night shopping ✨

A while ago I went for a walk with my son to see if we could find an open store that had bread for sale. At home even though we are Venezuelan we don't like to eat arepas so much and today's plan is to eat oatmeal and bread.

Luckily we found the bakery open and achieved our goal. ♥ On the way there we came across a store, which is the one in the pictures and which we are sorry to hear has gone into a terrible decline.

Almost no one goes there anymore to buy because they never have anything you are looking for, and although they have implemented various strategies to get it afloat, the truth is that they have not succeeded and it is very sad to see how it is dying little by little.

I took these pictures at the beginning of the year, at that time the store was still quite well maintained and well stocked. My son and I used to visit it a lot to do our household shopping. We don't do that as much anymore because now we have a store right next to the house and I don't need to go out that far to find everything I need.

That day we bought some little things for that day, like bread hahaha you see we are bread lovers. The bill totaled 134 bs. About 3.5$ approximately.

I wanted to bring you this little post to remember those times at the beginning of the year, when there were still Christmas decorations. Which by the way, December is just around the corner. It's amazing how fast the months go by. And good also because it is one of those that I had on my computer and had not shared with you. Little by little we are catching up haha.

Hace un rato salí con mi hijo a hacer una caminara para ver si encontrabamos alguna tienda abierta que tuviera pan a la venta. En casa a pesar de que somos venezolanos no nos gusta tanto comer arepas y el plan de hoy es comer avena y pan.

Por suerte encontramos la panadería abierta y logramos el objetivo. ♥ De camino a allá nos cruzamos una tienda, que es la de las fotos y la cual nos siente mucho que ha entrado en una terrible decadencia.

Ya no van casi personas a comprar porque nunca tienen nada de lo que uno busca, y a pesar de que han implementado diversas estrategias para sacarla a flote, la verdad no lo han logrado y es bien triste ver como poco a poco va muriendo.

Estas fotos las tomé a principios de año, en ese tiempo la tienda aún se mantenía bastante bien y estaba bastante abastecida. Mi hijo y yo solíamos visitarla mucho para hacer las compras de la casa. Ya no lo hacemos tanto porque ahora contamos con una tienda justo al lado de la casa y no tengo necesidad de salir tan lejos para encontrar todo lo que necesito.

Ese día compramos algunas cositas para ese día, como pan jajaja ya ven que somos amantes del pan. La cuenta hizo un total de 134 bs. Unos 3.5$ aproximandamente.

Quise traerles a ustedes este pequeño post para recordar esos tiempos a principios de año, cuando aún habían decoraciones navideñas. Que por cierto, falta nada para diciembre. Es impresionante lo rápido que pasan los meses. Y bueno también porque es una de esas que tenía en mi computadora y que no había compartido con ustedes. Poco a poco nos vamos poniendo al día jaja.
