El fin de semana pasado fue mi primera clase en la segunda sede de la academia y hoy comenzamos las clases en la academia, que es donde comencé a trabajar.
La verdad esto de trabajar en ambas sedes para mi está resultando beneficioso porque lo que planifique hacer para una clase lo puedo y debo aplicar en ambas.
Cosa que me facilita mucho el trabajo y me traza el camino que debo seguir. Para esta clase tenía planificado, al igual que con el otro grupo, crear una portada para marcar el inicio del segundo nivel.

Last weekend was my first class at the second location of the academy and today we started classes at the academy, which is where I started working.
The truth is that working in both locations is proving to be beneficial for me because what I plan to do for one class I can and must apply in both.
This makes my work much easier and shows me the path I should follow. For this class I had planned, as with the other group, to create a cover to mark the beginning of the second level.
La idea era comenzar en nuestro nuevo salón de clases, pero por motivos que se escapaban de nuestras manos, no lo pudimos hacer, pues el aire acondicionado de esta sala aún no estaba instalado y el técnico que lo iba a hacer no pudo asistir.
Ya para la próxima clase si es un hecho de que podremos estrenarlo y estar más cómodos en nuestro espacio, que me parece súper genial y sobre todo porque es un salón súper iluminado y los colores ayudan muchísimo en ello.
The idea was to start in our new classroom, but for reasons beyond our control, we could not do it, because the air conditioning in this room was not yet installed and the technician who was going to do it could not attend.
Now for the next class it is a fact that we will be able to use it for the first time and be more comfortable in our space, which I think is super cool and especially because it is a super bright room and the colours help a lot in it.
Por ahora nos tocaba esperar, y como no podíamos posponer las clases, decidimos compartir espacios con las niñas de ballet, quienes estaban también comenzando su primer día de clases.

Transcurridos unos 10 minutos desde que comenzamos a trabajar se nos presentó el segundo reto del día, se fue la electricidad... Como verán en las imágenes el sitio no contaba con la mejor iluminación y ya luego que se fue la luz el calor nos comenzó a molestar muchísimo.
Yo quería que al menos terminaran de trazar el borrador para que al salir solo nos dedicáramos a pintar. Pero los chicos no se podían concentrar.
About 10 minutes after we started working, we were presented with the second challenge of the day, the electricity went out.... As you can see in the pictures, the place didn't have the best lighting and after the power went out, the heat started to bother us a lot.
I wanted them to at least finish the draft so that when we left we could just paint. But the kids couldn't concentrate.
Así que bueno decidí trasladar mi clase a la acera fuera de la academia, había una buena sombra y estaba mil veces más fresco que el interior de la academia.
Es la segunda vez que se va la luz mientras estoy dando clases pero como la vez anterior, no nos dejamos derrotar por las adversidades.
Los chicos no estaban del todo cómodos pero continuaron trabajando con la mejor actitud. Las chicas de ballet también salieron para hacer sus prácticas pues era muchísimo más cómodo.
So I decided to move my class to the pavement outside the academy, there was good shade and it was a thousand times cooler than inside the academy.
This is the second time the power went out while I was teaching but like last time, we didn't let the adversity defeat us.
The kids were not entirely comfortable but continued to work with the best attitude. The ballet girls also came out to do their practices as it was much more comfortable.
No se logró adelantar tanto como quería pero por lo menos lograron la base. Espero poder trabajar nuevamente en el transcurso de la semana para que podamos terminar con la portada y ya para la próxima clase nos podamos dedicar de lleno con el contenido.
We didn't make as much progress as I wanted to, but at least we got the basics right. I hope to be able to work again during the course of the week so that we can finish with the cover and for the next class we can dedicate ourselves fully to the content.
Así terminó nuestro día, con unos cuentos tropiezos en el camino pero logramos dar la clase y es lo más importante. Los niños se disfrutaron el momento a pesar de todo y hubo muchos momentos de chistes.
Se que a veces muchas de estas cosas se escapan de mis manos y la verdad intento dar lo mejor para que la clase sea perfecta, pero lamentablemente nos toca "tragar amargo" y verle el lado positivo a la situación.
Esperemos que estos cortes de electricidad no nos estén atormentando más nuestras clases y que podamos disfrutarlo al pleno. ♥
So ended our day, with a few hiccups along the way but we managed to teach the class and that is the most important thing. The children enjoyed the moment in spite of everything and there were many moments of jokes.
I know that sometimes many of these things are out of my hands and I really try to do my best to make the class perfect, but unfortunately we have to "swallow bitter" and look at the positive side of the situation.
Let's hope that these power outages are no longer plaguing our classes and that we can enjoy them to the fullest. ♥

Que problema con la electricidad que interrumpe nuestras labores diarias, espero pueden ver clases pronto en el nuevo salón, lo importante es que apesar de los tropiezos seguiste dando tu clase de pintura.
Vertale si, estamos pagando las consecuencias de haber disfrutado un diciembre sin cortes eléctricos 😔. Cosas tan básicas ahora son un lujo. Es injusto. Y bueno la idea es que la próxima sea allá, roguemos porque sea así 🙏✨ y si, hay que mantener la actitud positiva y no dejar de darle clases a los niños que están tan motivados
Que bueno que a pesar de los pequeños impedimentos pudieran lograrlo. Poco a poco se avanza.
