"The Human Condition?" series of handmade paintings.

Hello everyone, I am back to continue sharing my work with you. After spending some time doing portrait studies I wanted to start a new series of mixed media handmade paintings.

I want to explore through this series ideas that revolve around the human condition. This painting seeks to reflect on how the unconscious accumulates heavy physical and emotional burdens on our backs, causing us to manifest realities of lack.

We all carry a heavy burden on our backs, some are more aware of it than others, others are unaware of it and others know it, but ignore it, assuming it in a solemn or justified way. How much does our life and our time belong to us, how free do we allow ourselves to be in truth, how much does that which we cling to irrationally but justified by our ego chain us or free us?
